Took my car in due to it not starting, they said it was the starter that went bad and replaced it for $800. 4 days later I start having issues and go to get my battery/alternator tested at Advanced auto. They test it and it shows that my battery & alternator are in great shape, but my starter is going bad. I’m unsure how this happens & very frustrated as I just spent almost $1000 fixing something that didn’t get fixed. I called and spoke to guest service, I’m waiting to hear back for a resolve. Will update after I speak with them.
Update: After bringing it back in to Meineke they told me the battery sensor was going bad and I needed to take it to the dealership. I take it to the dealership and they inform me the starter is bad. I call Meineke, as I was asked to by reply here, for a resolve. They tell me they can order a new starter for me. Why would I trust them to replace something twice on my vehicle??!? In absolute disbelief, as I used to go to Meineke when I lived in VA and had terrific service there. Will not be going back. Would not trust with any work on your vehicle.

Extremely expensive. I was quoted $100 at shop that had to order a part. They charged me $350. Cut my catalytic converter off told me I couldn't keep it. I know what that is.i will encourage everyone to go elsewhere. This place is a disgrace. Close to scam.

I had my vehicle towed to meineke car care center Saturday, November 9th because it shut down on the interstate while I was driving. The technician said they put my vehicle on a diagnostic machine and came to the conclusion that it was the battery. I paid for a new battery and the cost for diagnostic, $369.00. Long story short, I drove my car to church Sunday and couldn’t make it back home because it shut down again, new battery was drained. I had to have it towed home. I will never use this company again.

This location gave me a defective alternator and a small & weak ah battery along with it. Basically overcharged me for some defects smh. Wouldn’t recommend. -2000/1000 -50 stars

I told the gentleman I was at work and he consistently called my phone at 6 times within 20 mins. It was very unprofessional and I told him if I didn't answer to please leave me a voicemail.

This shop does not perform diagnostics tests and only repair what they "feel" is wrong. The repairs that were done to my car were not up to standards as another repair shop had to fix or inform me about. My main complaint was not addressed, and I was left with an unsafe car to drive, which I had to go to another shop to get addressed.

Meineke Car Care Center is the best they explain in full detail on what is going on with your car before repair are started, also they have the best customer service great mechanics That are very professional and what they do.

I really appreciate the work that they provided I was in Memphis working didn’t know where to bring my truck ended at this location and got my front hub bearings and my exhaust manifold replaced so far so good it wasn’t a cheap fix but upon checking around I believe I was given a fair price!!!
