I don't know what it is with rude service today but I just walked in the door and I was told that I'd have to go online and make an appointment, if I was just to sit there it was going to be 2 hours. Which seems funny, no appointment necessary and there's not two people in the building.

My second time at this location, an I have to say my stylist both times has been great! Ive always treated a haircut as a chore, but this is the first place I've actually enjoyed getting my hair cut, Thanks Lauren you do great work, and are amazing at what you do.

Used to like getting my hair cut here, but the last time I went, I was given a really poor job. Uneven all over and took nearly 2 hours, was such a waste of time. Had to get someone else I knew to fix it because it looked so bad. Be wary of the woman with piercings and dyed hair, like the other reviewer mentioned, because she seems to have a track record in terms of giving bad haircuts.

I walked thinking I was going to get a normal haircut, I put my info into the system and then went to go sit patiently. The wait time was around 15min and then I saw my barber, a Emo/gothic woman with strips of green in her hair, wearing a beanie, and 2 giant sharp piercings coming out her nostrils with piercings all over her face. Typically I would be fine with this but I had a sketchy feeling during entire haircut. I sat down in the seat and asked asked to start with a number 3 on the sides and blend it up,I asked for a inch or 2 off the top( my was around 8 inches) she said she can do that and quickly grabbed the trimmers. She had not held back one bit on the trimmer, going up and down my head at the speed of light, not having a care on what the hair looks like. I quickly told her to slow down on the trimmers and she said “that’s what I’m doing”. She bring the trimmer all the way towards nearly the top of my head and I was baffled. After that she started on the top of my hair she did good until it came to my bangs, I asked if she can make my bangs eyebrow length, she didn’t have a care in the world towards this comment and started cutting on her merry way. My bangs were not even close to my eyebrows. She cut my hair at an angle ( I didn’t ask for this) and it made me think about when I learned y=mx+b in school because my hair had such a big angle. After that she said she was done and I skedaddled out of there. I was very disappointed with my visit and I will not be asking for this haircut again.

I have avoided SportClips for many years since having memory of many lackluster experiences there all the way back when I was in middle school. However today I gave this place another shot and I'm very glad I did, came in for a regular fade and got one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Jessie spent about 20-30 minutes giving me a meticulously detailed and thorough haircut, the most attention to detail I've ever been given. Looking and feeling like a million bucks now, will be back whenever I can catch Jessie working again.
