I called in asking about recurve bows, and he took the time to explain everything and find out what i was looking for. I called everyone within a 3 hour radius of me, out of all the places i talked to they were by far the nicest and genuinely seemed to care about what i was looking for. So i drove the hour and a half to get there, and i was NOT disappointed in the least. There was only 1 person working so it was a little bit of a wait but COMPLETELY worth it. If you are a little ways away and are debating on making the drive DO IT. I definitely recommend them and will purchase any bows or accessories through them from now on, and i appreciate all their time and help!

I had a great experience at Custom Gear. I am new to archery, and Damien was extremely helpful and made sure I was completely comfortable with my new bow and setup before I left. This is the only shop that I will be doing business with in the future!!

I was here several years ago getting ready for a western bow hunt. They were highly competent, very friendly and knew what I needed. Recently, I decided to start shooting again and made a visit to get things tuned up. I quickly discovered those fine traits had not changed. I found myself in the presence of experts who shoot regularly and at the highest levels. They apply that kind of knowledge to your needs. And, even with my shooting ability covered up in several years of rust, I never felt any sense of discomfort as they helped me. I live quite a bit nearer other bow shops; but this is my “go-to” place.

I called Custom Archery yesterday asking for information prior to purchasing a crossbow. I have never owned one and am planning to purchase a bow before deer season. A representative of Custom Archery very patiently spoke with me for almost 15 minutes giving me information I needed before selecting a bow. Be assured I will purchase from this business. They were first rate and gave me some much needed guidance on crossbow selection

This is a great pro bow shop. The service is great. I took a new bow in and in an hour and thirty minutes it was prime for shooting. Their selection is wide and varied. Give them a try, you can't go wrong!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Chris spent 2 hrs with me and got the perfect bow to fit my needs. You rarely see this type of service these days. I'm new to archery and the time he spent was greatly appreciated. Custom Gear definitely has a returning customer here!

Great place for your bow hunting needs! I drive an hours drive one way year after year to deal with these guys because there customer service is worth it. No this isn't a big box store or a fast food shack, so don't expect a school kid waiting to take your order speedily. This is a custom bow shop and custom work and that takes time, for you and everyone else.. If you want good stuff, good service before and after the sale, and professional advice, this is your place.. If you want a happy meal bow and you wanted it 10 minutes ago, go to a big box store. You'll be willing to wait on service you can trust the next time, if you don't give up on bows all together. These guys make all the difference.. That's why there's a line of serous bow hunters at the door.
