Took my perfectly healthy dog in on a Wednesday for nail trimming , Rabies and yearly booster shots. The female vet while very nice, sorta gave her shots roughly and counted them off like she was she in a race, boom there is one, boom there is two she says while she’s doing it. Next day dog was limping but figured that was the nail trim. The limp progressively go worse until she was not using her back leg at all. Being the weekend I had to seek out help elsewhere and found sometimes rabies shots will hit a nerve and cause the issue she was having and it usually clears up in a week to ten days.I call them on Monday to tell them what is going on. I tell them since she got her shots she has not been able to move the leg they gave her her shots in. Jenifer the receptionist does not say anything until finally saying “and”.So not sure if it’s a lack of compassion or lack of empathy or just plain being a cold person, the only way she could have made me feel like she couldn’t careless is if she told me she couldn’t care less. Needless to say Jennifer gave me no confidence they would be able to do anything other then to deny they did anything in the first place so I did not bring her back nor will I ever bring any of my animals back. In the meantime she seemed to improve a little bit each day as the prognosis I was able to get elsewhere. She was eating regularly and aside from limping was acting her usual self. Thursday she was using her back leg and while she couldn’t get up or down the stairs on her own, she seemed to be trending in the right direction.Late Friday night she got sick. All morning Saturday she was sick. I took her to the emergency clinic around 330. By 5 she was in a coma. Her blood test showed Her pancreas, kidneys and lever all failing. She had zero blood sugar and zero white blood cells. She went from perfectly healthy and getting her yearly injections to being as the vet put it “the sickest puppy he has ever seen”. She crossed over the rainbow bridge 7:53 PM Saturday September 2nd 2023, 10 days after her visit to Animal Hospital of Milan.Could it be just a coincidence, sure, I just want everyone to know what happened to me and you can make your own decisions

Been coming here for 30+ years. Dr Agee was always great. Now that he’s retired the new Doctor seemed nice, can’t remember her name. Jennifer at the front desk has zero people skills and obviously hates her job. Everyone else are teenage girls with zero people or communication skills nor common sense. The asked what they’ve been told to ask and unless you answer with yes or no or lord forbid you ask them a question they will have a deer in headlights looks like their pea brain short circuited. Then talk hateful to you because they made themselves look like a fool. Since Agee’s time this place’s business practice has went to hell. Ridiculously high even for the most basic services. We had a great long run but will never be back. The ladies at Lambert’s in Milan are awesome, nice and so much more affordable. Zero stars if I could.

The rude lady at the front desk needs a class in customer service!!! A family member of mine came in with a puppy she rescued. She came in to ask a question about the puppy and was met with rudeness from the older front desk worker. She asked if she could speak with a doctor or assistant to see if they could give her some insight on his breed. The older front desk worker rudely told her that it was mixed with some of everything and then proceeded to tell her that she would need an appointment and they weren't seeing anyone else today! They left and will not be back due to the rudeness!

the older lady working the front desk has the worst attitude. she was rude to me when i called, worried about my dog. she was rude this morning when i brought my dog in. i picked my dog up this afternoon she was super friendly to the man in front of me, then got to me and was absolutely hateful. very uncalled for tone. i'm sure the vet & techs did great with my dog but unfortunately the one i communicated with was awful.

The front desk woman was only rude to my sister even though my sister was being very nice. She had medium dirty blonde hair with glasses and a green shirt. My sister said she had an appointment and the older lady said go sit down it will be a minute. ( in a rude manner) so my sister said “yes ma’am” and sat down. The lady started asking questions about my sister. Her tone was uncalled for and hateful for some reason. Every one after us she was nice too. The vet was nice and informative. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO LAMBERT ANIMAL CLINIC THEY ARE NICE.

The receptionist is rude. Do businesses not understand they usually give the first impression. I left before being seen because she was so rude to one girl. I will tell everyone about this.

I have always been able to get a same day appointment. Dr. Agee and his staff do there best to take of your loved one, pet, in a timely and caring manner.

The best veterinarians around. Both Agee and Ferguson are knowledgeable and friendly, however, their admin staff are rude and not personable at all.

I can’t think these people enough for the care they gave to my fur-baby. It’s hard traveling and not having a full time vet. The front desk ladies and the vet are so kind and thoughtful to both our dog and us!

I came in because I did not have time to go to my dogs normal vet in Nashville. She has an ear infection and the vet made the comment she has a “junk yard ear crop”. My dog has autoimmune encephalitis and she had facial paralysis when it was active so her ears lay down now. Completely uncalled for and flat out rude! Will not be back!

Only good thing about it was got in fast and out fast. Staff not friendly, especially the front office. Will not be back.

Older receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. Refused to give me any information about MY OWN DOG WHICH I BROUGHT IN AND ALWAYS HAVE! I will NEVER step foot in this place again. From what I hear, the doctor is amazing but the older woman (not the two sweet younger ladies) is constantly being rude to customers and turning business away with her sour puss attitude and has been for years!
