I haven’t shopped at Catos since Ross’s opened. Yesterday I went in to buy a couple shirts. I wasn’t greeted. I wasn’t asked if I needed help. I ended taking the two shirts back in the evening because they didn’t fit properly. Those people are rude. I tried to engage them in conversation and they just looked at me with a little smirk on their faces. The lady that waited on me wasn’t there earlier and she was polite but wasn’t friendly at all. Let’s just say Ross’s will continue to get my money. I can’t believe folks who work in the public can’t be friendly or at least polite.

Love shopping at this store! All the sales associates are always very friendly. Acknowledge you when you enter and offer help. Friendly even when customers are rude!

I'm black. Handed a $100 bill to pay for my purchase. 1st lady said oh I can't see the face. Then reached for the pen which confirmed it was legit. Then the 2nd Lady takes it & says well someone else has to check it anyway. When she hands it back to the 1st lady, the 2nd lady laughing says to me, 'You did a good job making this one." & Yes each lady was white & each 3 customer service ladies thought that the comment was hilarious!-- Cato's- Millington, TN- store 512/Salesperson #150..if volume works with your camera this can be confirmed.
