I've always had a really good experience going to the monteagle store. The Pharmacy Team, Harold, Doug and the fine Ladies in that department are kind and pleasant. Answer all questions. Just a good overall experience, High 5 to CVS Monteagle

This cvs experience was absolutely the worst ever! As a responsible, God fearing adult, that works 50+ hrs a week with no addiction history ( absolutely 100% verifiable)and going into have a pain management prescription filled and being treated as such.... absolutely shameful, cvs has a clause that states they do not have to fill a prescription if it is morally wrong or against religious beliefs.
Yet was turned away after being told( after the clerk had a conversation with the pharmacist)that they had to many local pain management patients to worry about, so they would only fill it this one time and we would have to find another pharmacist.... ok... 1. Live locally with clear proof,
2. our Insurance only covers prescription through cvs
3. When asked if they could find us another cvs that could refill every month, was absolutely told no
AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE...NOT SO MUCH, NOT AT ALL. We all understand the opioid issues in America and unfortunately the addiction issues in grundy co. But to lie just to be able to get out of filling a prescription, and refuse to help link another cvs to help...WOW its no wonder you have the ethics issues you all have with over billing Medicare/ Medicaid just to name a few public examples. Absolutely would NOT recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

No issues with pharmacist. Competent pharmacy staff. I've not had any problems with prescription pick up.
This CVS store is an unreliable UPS Drop Off Location. Per the two miserable people working the front registers, the store is unable scan QR codes to print off shipping return labels.
Edit: Instead of providing a generic response, CVS could have actually read my review. I will be more direct: specifically, I would like to see the store offer all services as indicated on CVS and UPS website. Including, the ability to print off shipping labels. Customers see a list of services provided on the website and expect CVS to meet that need; to not meet this expectation is poor business. Also, the store clerks could stand to be more respectful to paying customers. I am only one of multiple reviews of this store noting the poor behavior.

Rude pharmacist. College daughter went to urgent care in Winchester because she was very sick (pneumonia) and it was Saturday. Urgent care called in the prescriptions to this CVS. I called the pharmacy explaining the situation and I was told the pharmacy would close at 6pm sharp and couldn’t wait on my very sick daughter get there. Mind you it’s a Saturday, she has pneumonia and is driving up from Winchester. There was ZERO compassion given by any of the pharmacy staff. She sprinted into the pharmacy at 6:02. The staff was so rude and bothered that she made it there. They started to close the gate on her as she begged for her meds. Just an unbelievable situation that needed to handled with compassion and kindness.

If you’re just doing some shopping in the store part, that’s fine. No complaints there. My complaint is the pharmacy.
Everyone working back there looked like they were in foul moods, and even saw one woman slamming stuff down in a passive aggressive manner. I was the only one in line and it took forever for one of them to wait on me, and then the woman that came and waited on me acted like she did not want to.
I have narcolepsy, so I need my medication. I gave her an expired ID, but I felt like it was okay considering she was the same woman that took it the last few times I came to pick up my medication. And I’m not medically cleared to drive, and I’ve been working so much that I haven’t had time to renew it. But as I said, I didn’t think it would be a problem considering she scanned it the last few times and it was okay.
She looked down at it and told me she needed one that was not expired. And it was not in a polite manner. And I told her that was all I had, and she told me she wasn’t giving me my medicine.
I could understand if she had rejected me the first time since it was expired, but she did not, so I assumed it was okay. But for some reason, it was not okay this time. I have the receipts and checking account statements to prove that I got my medicine from there before with it.
Needless to say, I switched pharmacies as soon as I got home. My doctor canceled the CVS script and sent it in to the new pharmacy. I will not be going back to this CVS ever again.

CVS is a joke now you can’t even talk with someone, you have to leave a message for a call back. Ridiculous this place is notorious for mix ups, screw ups and incompetence and now they are too busy or unconcerned to even answer a phone call. Useless

I’ve never been to a CVS pharmacy that treated me like a valued customer. All their employees act like they hate working there, and hate having to wait on people.

Great Pharmacy, Harold and Doug are great guys to deal with, top notch. The Girls that work in the Pharmacy are equally Great Folks to deal with, helpful and get the job done. People need to understand it's a very busy place and some things take time. They always have a answer to the question, just be nice to them,,geez, that's not hard to do.

CVS was out of stock for my medication. They contacted my doctor and got me taken care of.

Had a question for the pharmacy about whether a medication they apparently didn’t have in stock would be in over the weekend. Was told “no, sorry about that” and then she hung up. No “other questions?” No “anything else?” No “thank you”, just pure rudeness and hung up. Will never patronize this store again.

This is one of the most incompetent pharmacies I’ve ever dealt with. They will try to charge you a copay even when you’re not supposed to have one. I even contacted my insurance and had them personally call the pharmacy and tell them a medication was covered with no copay and they still were trying to charge a copay. I ended up transferring my prescription to a different local pharmacy in Tracy City and they ran my insurance and said it was completely covered. I had zero issues with a different pharmacy. Best decision ever to switch! Stay away from these major chains. . they just want money and are not for the people.

I was unhappy with the service at this CVS when I was denied the ability to return a clearance item that was not marked clearance. I don't mind following a policy when the information posted about a product is clear. It's obviously unfair to customers to misrepresent items.
