This is always a destination to shop whenever you go over Monteagle Mountain. Outdoor gear is extremely expensive in general and you will find that on the first floor. Just make sure not to miss the upstairs. My find this time were some brand new trail running shoes at half price, so $50. I have always wondered about Brooks, as I typically wear Nike or Merrell. You can beat a tryout of a $117 pair of new shoes for $50.

Went in to check out their selection of Hoka Shoes. They are on point. Matt helped me and got me all set. He was informed and knowledgeable about the product. He was friendly and so helpful.
Only downfall is I wanted to purchase a 2nd pair but store policy wouldn't allow Matt to order for me. That frustrated me - you know ..... Try to shop local and want to spend my $$$ there. Oh well...

I usually get my summer sandals here. They have a good variety of chacos and tevas. They have great staff that assist with size.

This has a very old country store feel to it. Love the front porch that they have some products set up to sit in and try out. The parking lot is pretty large and I think it is very nice that they have designated some spaces specifically for the use of the people using the Mountain Goat Trail. The store has a very large selection of outdoor gear. We found a large selection of many name brand jackets and coats and the ones we checked had a competitive price with the manufacturers websites so we made sure to purchase from them. They have some sale racks downstairs but had a sale on everything that was placed upstairs so make sure to check up there, especially if you need a medium jacket or coat, seemed to be a lot in that size up there. The staff was very approachable and helpful.
