Belk is a department store destination for men’s and women’s clothes, shoes, beauty, fragrances, home décor, kitchen appliances and more. The store is clean, well maintained and has good inventory. Employees are friendly and courteous, and CSR'S were courteous and helpful, but not enough people on the floor to answer your questions. Men’s shoes are limited to about five styles, while women’s shoe selection is wonderful. The store offers competitive sales, including Estée Lauder colognes and gift set at a reduced price. Need more options for checking out, like more registers open or self checkouts or mobile checkouts. Edit: I'll add that things have improved here, and the employees are terrific (friendly, courteous and efficient). The past two or three trips here have been pleasant. My wife found a great deal today on a new outfit!

The sales are great but finding someone at checkout is almost impossible. If you're in a hurry you may want to go at a time when you're not.
