First experience was just... okay. However, every visit thereafter revealed the true direction this staff must get from their store manager(s): that of pure apathy for the customer experience. Example: a customer service member was half-heartedly attempting to address our current return need -- and not only were 5+ other people standing behind the rep (doing nothing) but they were actively looking at my wife and me... and smirking. And, no, we weren't being 'karens'.Even my experience with the 'store manager' (different day) just demonstrated that apathy even further. It's just been a shockingly bad few experiences at this store. And I mean "shockingly" from a place of logic -- like how can *everyone* we've encountered possibly be *that* apathetic and *that* bad at their job. It has to be top-down, right? For what it's worth, my experience with the Home Depot locations in Oak Ridge, TN and Knoxville, TN haven't yielded this level of disdain for the customer and I have no issues shopping at those locations -- so it's not a chain-wide thing. I've made a vow, however, that no matter how great my need is, I will never shop at this location again. That sounds overly dramatic but I hope it underlines just how bad the customer service experience is at this location overall.

I'm so disappointed with the Home Depot in Morristown. Sadly, we don't have another Home Depot close so this is the only one we have. Our local store chooses to stock on Saturday mornings between the hours of 8 AM and noon which is not the way that things should be. On a Saturday morning folks go in to get their supplies for their weekend projects. I came in to get exterior paint to paint my house this weekend and their paint guy was restocking pallets of wood stain instead of helping customers, and there was no back up waiting, so I went to Lowe's. We were also looking for a three-quarter inch copper step bowed for our outbuilding and they didn't have it and I also was looking for a Libby mop bucket and they don't carry that anymore and so I threw my hands up and left The priority at Home Depot is no longer a customer service it's obvious so your manager needs to get it together and I hope regional looks at this stuff. This is unacceptable. I'm not shopping there for a good six months and we'll see how it goes after that. M. Matthews

Delivery trucks breaking down is an unfortunate, unforeseen circumstance beyond anyone's control. However, it is in Home Depots' control how the delay in delivery is handled , which can be summed up in one word, poorly. Fast forward to today. Delivery person called almost 3hrs ago to say he's on his way, and nothing ! Never again Home Depot , never again

I bought a refrigerator from them. When it was delivered the delivery men were incompetent. Two days after I had the fridge it started leaking. It took a week for a replacement one to be ordered. Then when delivered the 2 men were arguing and unable to properly install and complete the job.

We bought over $800 in merchandise. We had a coupon for 18 months same as cash. The very sweet cashier could not get the coupon to work and ask head cashier named Crystal to help her. She first told us to go home after paying and call the number to Home Depot. When we said we didn’t really want to do that and the cashier told her it said use in store she told her to call. The sweet cashier got on the phone and was calling speaking to Home Depot credit. The head cashier Crystal then told her as she was on the phone trying to help us to stop and check out the customer behind us! Really?? How many times have you waited in line for a customer in front of you finishing a transaction? Many for us!! So extremely rude!!! We spend a lot of money in Home Depot and did not appreciate Crystals rudeness. We have been to Home Depot in different states and areas and have never experienced rudeness like this. It was wrong to do the sweet cashier that way and us as paying customers and even the gentleman on the other end of the phone from Home Depot credit.

We ordered a dryer online for my son we had to wait almost a whole month for it to be delievered. The phone number to was accidently put in wrong it was actually the area code that was put in wrong as 432 instead of 423 but they had other forms of contact such as email and other ways which none of those were tried. He took the whole day off of work and even spoke with represenatives at the store mulitple times when the dryer was not delievered at the promised time. One of the times he spoke with the representative from the store he was told the dryer was delivered at 1:30 PM, which he had been home all day and no delievery had been made. He finally called the store at 6:30 PM and spoke with a manager by the name of Michelle and was told that the earliest they could get the dryer redelievered was on 9/20 which is 6 days later. We called and spoke with MIchelle and she insisted on that being the earliest time for delievery. She told me that she would be happy to give us the delievery compaines phone number and we could arrange to see if there was another earlier time. I explained to her being a manager and us being the consumer that it was HER JOB to make those phones calls since we had already bought and paid for the item and had been waiting almost a month for the purchase to be delievered. I find this to be totally unacceptable, what happened to the days that companies went the extra mile to make sure their customers were completely satisified since there are so many other choices out there now in and days. We will defintely be looking at other avenues when it comes to having to have something delievered and dealing with another company that has better customer service. We were defintely not pleased when a manager offers for you to do her job!

The associates at this location are top notch. We came in looking for a work bench that the website indicated the store had in stock but we couldn’t find it. A couple of associates tried to help but the bench was nowhere to be found. Finally my husband asked at the customer service desk and David went on an epic search for the bench. After quite a few minutes and several laps around the store on his part, he finally located them in an obscure location on a high up shelf. He wrangled it down and brought one out to us. He even brought the color I wanted. I greatly appreciate all the trouble he went to to find it for us. Several other associates offered to load it for us and kept us entertained while we waited for David. TLDR; your associates at this location are awesome.

delivery and setup and install is supposed to be delivery and setup and installed not come to the end of your driveway stop unload your product then get laughed in your face by the delivery people when asked if there going to setup and install the product that they get paid to do so no I say if you order something to be delivered setup and installed just pick it up yourself because you'll be doing it your self anyway. rating 0 on that behalf.

The bill comes in and the interest free promo was not applied and they have not helped me to fix there mistakes its been 11 days and im still dealing with this .. biggest mess i have ever dealt with they also have all my paperwork and recipes and now cant find or locate them its been awful to say the least! I will never purchase from home depot again it should not be this hard on a customer at all !!!

I find it very strange, that Home Depot has disabled parking right in front of the store, but when you get ready to leave, the checkouts are at the far ends of where you entered, making you walk the extra mile just to get back to the disabled parking area...what's with that ???

It appears that Home Depot delivery contractors can't get their act together! My wife ordered a Husky Tool Cabinet for my birthday only to have Non-Stop Delivery Company to "lose" it after receiving it at their facility in Blountville TN. (Employee must had REALLY liked it and took it home.. It has never been found since!!).. So she ordered a second one, received confirmation of delivery date, etc., now May 29, Southern Freight doesn't want to deliver it because they can't get their tractor trailer into the subdivision!.. Why sell a product, customer pays for shipping, only to have a delivery service asking the customer to meet them somewhere convenient ???

The web page said that the store was open until 8pm. So we drive by the door to check the time to make sure. The worker that was locking the door rudely told us twice that the store was closed. So my husband and I both looked at her like OK and I gave her a thumbs up and she’s like we’re closed and she says very hateful. I don’t know what her name was but she had blonde hair was a little bit overweight. This is not good customer service. I told her that we were not planning on getting out of the car if the store was closed. I understand she probably wanted to go home but she did not have to have the rude tone that she had with us. We were in the car, not trying to get in the building.
