Ingles Market is a clean store with friendly and helpful staff. It offers a really good variety of items and specialty goods, with great prices and sales that allow customers to save a lot. The store features a deli, a bakery, and some locations have pharmacies. The produce is local, wonderful, and very good, with a department that cares about quality. Actual butchers are on hand to cut meat upon request. The bakery offers fresh items like crispy baguettes. Additional offerings include a fresh salad bar, cooked chicken and wings, an olive bar, and other prepared foods, providing healthy and fresh alternatives. The store is easy to check out and provides points for reduced gas prices. While not a modern mega store, it has everything needed in a clean environment and is considered the best option in its area.

Prices are good and deli/bakery is tasty, but the bathroom is dirtier than a rest stop near Tallahassee. This was early on a Sunday so apparently it had been that way. I don’t go there just for the bathroom, but if you must go, wear a hazmat suit.
