Monte Alban Mexican Restaurant is considered the best local Mexican restaurant, serving totally legit food that is not toned down. The food is amazing, very delicious, and some of the best Mexican ever had. Specific recommendations include the Quesataco Birria, birria tacos, and the steak burrito, which is noted for its great seasoning and being fully stuffed. The atmosphere is exotic, vibrant, and super clean. The people are always super friendly, nice, and fast, with excellent customer service. English is no problem. It is a family-oriented and kid-friendly business with wheelchair accessibility. Orders are easy to call in, and the generous portions are easily two meals in one. It is highly recommended over other places in town.

My fiancé is a burrito conisour so when we moved here we were on a mission to find the best burrito. And we’ve found it with Monte Alban. They are the first ones we’ve found that actually stuff everything in the burrito. Great seasoning on the steak! Would highly recommend over other places in town.
