We were very happy to find a laundromat in mountain city with an extra large capacity washer and dryer, however, it is pretty dirty. There is lots of dust on the tops of machines, trash on the floor and trash out side on the sidewalk. It seems to me it wouldn’t take more than an hour or 2 per week to keep it sanitary.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The entire place is INCREDIBLY filthy, dirt, grime, soap residue, hair, and skin cells caked on every surface. The tables, floors, chairs, and the machines. The insides of the machines smell like mold and mildew. Half of them are out of order. The dryers take forever to dry because of the lint not being cleaned out regularly. I dropped one of my child’s clothing items on the ground after it had already been “washed” and I just threw it away. Yuck. On top of that, there is no AC in the building and the one single time I used the facility I parked in one of the front parking spaces and an older employee came in and yelled at me to move my vehicle with my hands full juggling my belongings, laundry, and an infant. Why even have a space there, then?? The entire experience was ridiculous and still cost almost $15 to wash and dry a single hamper full of laundry. Go literally anywhere else.

I would rather drive all the way to Boone NC or go to Elizabethton to wash my clothes. Dryers take forever to dry. Washing machines don't even seem to be actually cleaning my clothes and it's a very sketchy place. The store is fine and the lady at cashier is so nice. But I won't use the laundry mat end any more.

A very nice place to do your laundry and while it washes you can wash your car or go on the store for snack it's very clean and wash machines are great
