One star because 0 stars aren't an option! I have always appreciated Budget having been a FastBreak member for a number of years. However, after a recent rental, I began receiving correspondence about damage to a vehicle that I had rented including threatening collection letters from a law firm. Upon reaching out to Budget, I learned that the vehicle was wrecked and impounded 77 days after I returned the vehicle. 77 days! That's how they treat their customers. SMH!

Reserved a cargo van as we didn’t need that much space and wanted good gas mileage. When my partner arrived, the staff reported they only had a 12 foot truck. It’s unprofessional to not have the reservation requested available.

I turned down the pre-paid gas option (I have a witness who heard me decline), but was charged $52 for it and I returned the car with a full tank. It was snuck into the agreement I signed so I guess I'm SOL with that. There was a dent in the door when I took possession. I reported it and it was documented by an employee (I have a copy), but I am now being told it happened when it was in my possession and am being charged for it. Stay away from these people! I should have used Enterprise. Never had problems with them.

Everyone was VERY helpful at the Budget car rental in Murfreesboro! Very nice, no hassle whatsoever and very helpful. We got everything squared away and I got my car. Easy peasy.I will go to them first any time I need another car rental.

Poorly managed and organized. I needed to book a car rental on short notice and booked a rental online only to get a call 10 minutes before I was supposed to pick it up and was advised they didn't have any cars available. If that's so, then why let people book online. They've has this same issue for years..... I went to enterprise and was able to pick up a car with no problem. Save your time and just book with enterprise.

Hours listed are incorrect. Was running late (because of an accident that delayed traffic) to pick up my already booked and ready to go reservation. I called and let them know the situation that I would be there at the last minute. Was told "we've been here since 7" and we close at 5. Walked up at 4:58 and they literally ran to the door and locked it as I reached for the handle.Never seen someone so eager to lose my business forever, so congratulations on that.Expect the bare minimum and you'll be lucky to get even that.

First, I rented this car through booking.com who I do all of my reservations with (hotels, rental cars, and flights) and have never had an issue with them. When I arrived to pick up my car the people at the desk were very kind but informed me that they did not have the vehicle I had requested (a large SUV) and had already paid for. I asked why and they explained that their fleet manager was not bringing them any new vehicles due to covid and that they were severely over booked. I asked them if they had anything on the lot similar and they told me all they had available was a sedan or a minivan. I told them that if I wanted a sedan I would have just driven my own so I would take the minivan because I needed cargo space (hence why I was renting a vehicle) I got the minivan and began my trip. Shortly into my trip I realized that one of the directionals didn't work in the vehicle which made me worry I would get pulled over. Also, the blower on the air conditioner made an ear piercing whine when turned on above the first notch. As if this wasn't enough the vehicle would not let me connect my phone for hands free calling either via Bluetooth or wire which made the trip very long and tedious.I was prepared to let all of this go because I understand that this wasn't the fault of the store and sometimes you get a dud vehicle, but when I returned the vehicle I was charged a $24 fuel fee for the tank being 2 gallons less then when I picked it up. This is absolutely ridiculous because I had literally just stopped to fill the tank around the corner (less than 1 mile) before returning the vehicle as I always do. I pumped the gas until the pump shut off on its own and checked the needle which read over the full line.I will never do business with Budget rentals ever again especially not the one in Murfreesboro, TN and I recommend that everyone else avoid them too. These are scam artist tactics to gouge unsuspecting people out of their money.

Nothing but praise for this care rental place. They were very accommodating with our credit check and return of the car. Everyone was extremely friendly and hospitable. It was our first time using this service (we used to use another car rental service) and not only is this place more affordable, but it's better quality service and cars! Thank you so so much to the team here. We will definitely be back!
