So the start of our experience was wonderful the lady assisting us was very helpful and friendly and we checked out. We'll on our way out we saw something else and decided to get it we get to the checkout and have new lady I can't stress the new lady enough she rings us up and we go to pay with a $100 she whispers we can't take $100 due to the bank holiday coming Monday. It's Nov 2nd there is the election Tuesday but no banking holiday Monday it is 12 noon on a Saturday there isn't any reason she couldn't have taken our $100 she was angry because we had just spent over $100 with the other lady and just spent $10 with her. We didn't have anything smaller and really didn't want to charge the credit card for a second time smaller purchase, but not to cause a scene we did. I mean I looked up bank holidays and there isn't one so why rudely refuse a cash sale? Was it pure laziness or was it due to the color of our skin? I really hate to think these thoughts because usually CATOs is amazing in every way but this cashier offending not only myself but my mother.

Extremely rude employees. First of all we were not greeted at all. My friends and I went shopping with our 5 children 3 of which were strapped in a stroller, the oldest two were walking around. Mind you none of them were crying/yelling/acting bad they were all bring very good. Which is a rare, so we were excited to get to shop with everyone in good moods. The oldest 2 were walking around, NOT RUNNING and an employee came up to us and said ‘can you please make him stop running around we have other customers’. Mind you there were 2 other women in the entire store and our children were NO WHERE near them. Then she proceeded to gossip about us to another employee. We all had multiple items we were going to buy but immediately put them back and left. We are stay at home moms and don’t have the luxury of leaving our children else where and we are doing our best, so for someone to be so rude when our children were actually being really good was ridiculous. I could understand it if they were running and yelling but as I said they were not. We will not be going back to this location.

Around 5PM I walked in my first time at this store location and 2 Caucasian women worked the store at this time and neither one greeted me or asked if needed any assistance. I looked one right in the face and she ignored me and continued fixing some clothes rack. Store completely empty only me and both did not speak to me. Will be contacting corporate. You do not treat WOC this way.

First time visiting this Murfreesboro location. Cute festive clothes but the clearance rack caught my eye, $1.99 $2.99 and up.

The store manager christy there is the reason why I share with everyone in Tennessee not to shop here her service was poor she made our family think Jim Crow was in full affect. She chose not to speak and stare as though we were aliens sorry to say that in Tennessee I’ve never been treated so poorly as a woman I hope corporate sees this review.
