IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO CORAL FOR YOUR HAIR NEEDS, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING. Sarah and Arica are so down to earth. They have this energy about them that makes you want to tell your life story right when you sit down. Sarah keeps my hair healthy and beautiful. Sarah has been doing my hair for 10+ years now, and I must say I not only love what she does with my thick, long hair; but I love the comforting atmosphere and how kind her and Erica are. They really go above and beyond to figuring out what exactly you want while making sure your hair is healthy enough for the changes you seek. TOTAL Price = $290.20. I asked for blonde highlights…and walked out with a shade of Dull BROWN/Grayish overly-thinned hair by use of thinning shears. It was a crazy method of a fast-grab of hair here and there all over my head without any rhyme or reason. The front right was so thinned out there’s a hole now that I have to try to maneuver hair around to cover it.The layers on the sides were left choppy due to not point cut blending (which has always been done by previous stylists). So now what I had grown out has to be regrown!hair.My bill was: $175 + $50 Toner (not included) + $20 extra pot of bleach (short hair!) + Virtual Processing fee $7.35 (if you didn’t bring cash). You’re not told this prior to the appointment.When I called about my dissatisfaction primarily about the highlights, she blocked caller ID and voicemailed me some solutions. One was to add more bleach! Um, adding more bleach after how many “pots” used, and doing it this soon, don’t think that’s a great idea.What I’ve learned: salons who have availability within a week of booking are more than likely not going to be as skilled as those who are booked up for months at a time.This isn’t about the money as much as it is about how businesses treat customers. If your services start at a certain price, then be honest. Don’t bait your customers on your website and say a service starts at $175 and then switch it to $225 when the customer is sitting in your chair. It’s difficult for a person to get up after having waited a week and say, no. But be assured, that customer more than likely will be a one and done with you, particularly if you turn their hair brown and gray. Do better Erica. Update websites to reflect accurate information.Also, for those looking at reviews to decide…the vast majority are from previous customers when owned and ran as a full-service salon (lashes, nails, etc.) very misleading.Oh, and I still have no clue why the other stylist told me it wasn’t Coral Salon when I called the first time looking for this place. So strange!!
