Experience with Discount Tire's Lifetime Rotation and Spin Balancing Policy.
If you're considering Discount Tire for your vehicle's tire needs, especially for their lifetime rotation and spin balancing services, you might want to think twice. My recent experience has left me questioning the true value of their "lifetime" services.
Many years ago, I opted for Discount Tire's lifetime rotation and spin balancing service, assured that it would provide peace of mind and long-term savings. However, I recently discovered that their definition of "lifetime" is, in fact, limited to six years. Despite paying for a service marketed as lasting a lifetime, I was refused service beyond the six-year mark. The reason given was that my tires were deemed unsafe due to their age, despite having only 20,000 miles on them and plenty of tread life remaining.
I presented my signed paperwork that clearly outlined the certificate for lifetime balance and rotation. Nowhere in the documentation did it state a limitation of years—much less a restriction of six years. This sudden revelation left me feeling deceived and frustrated.
Pushing back on their refusal, the only resolution offered by Discount Tire was a coupon equating to the amount I had initially paid for the lifetime service, but it could only be applied toward the purchase of new tires. This attempt to leverage my dissatisfaction into another sale did little to restore my trust.
As a result, I am now forced to seek out another tire dealer or garage to perform the rotation and balancing services that I had already paid for at Discount Tire. This unnecessary expense and inconvenience further highlight the shortcomings of Discount Tire's so-called lifetime policy.
In conclusion, my experience with Discount Tire has been disheartening. Their misleading definition of "lifetime," coupled with their refusal to honor paid services, has ensured that I will never purchase from them again. If you value transparency and reliability, it might be wise to explore other options for your tire needs.

I had a blowout down in Fayetteville and had to throw a spare on when. I arrived at the Murfreesboro DT. I dropped the tire off with Grayson I was told they would contact me. I was sent a tracking to see when it was done. I arrived and had asked after spending <$200.00 Fabian met me and was persistent in doing his job. I did not want to buy tires even knowing a week before my vehicle was hydroplaning with the heavy rain. He checked me in to get the tire on and then gave me the bad news as much as I pushed to not want to hear anything about new tires. After I gave in to let him do his job we discussed options. I have spent a lot of time in DT. 3 Daughters and a wife plus my own work vehicles. I have always been taken care of at DT. This time I have to say Fabian was a consistent Professional was informative and took his time out helping me the best way possible.
I ordered the other 3 tires and have set an appointment to have them installed with my Discount Tire Credit card at 0%

I’ve been going to Discount Tire for a few years, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The prices are always great, and the service is top-notch. Whether I’m buying new tires, wheels, or getting a simple tire service, they always take care of me quickly and efficiently. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they never try to upsell you—just honest, reliable service every time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my tire needs; they’re my go-to for everything tire-related!

Probably won't be coming back here. Called on 12/5/24 told them I needed 2 tires mounted and rotated to the rear of my truck. Got told that the tires would be in on 12/7/24. Got a call on 12/6/24 that there was a shipping issue with my tires and that I would recieve some different ones on 12/6/24. Dropped my truck off on 12/6/24 for the tires to be installed on 12/7/24. Got a call midday 12/7/24 saying that my tires would AGAIN be delayed until Monday 12/9/24. Employee I spoke with did his best to get me on some similar sized tires so I could at least drive my truck until the proper tires arrived. Decided to just leave my truck with them over the weekend. I called in Monday afternoon 12/9/24 to check on the status of my installation and found out that my installation hadn't even started yet. Tires get put on that night. Had to wait until Tuesday 12/10/24 for my alignment to be completed. FINALLY pick up my truck Tuesday night 12/10/24. Only to realize that my request to have the new tires installed on the rear of my truck was either ignored or overlooked. I went back in and spoke to an employee to inform them that they still messed up and my tires were in the wrong location. Employee offered to get the manager to rectify the issue. At this point I was so over with these issues that I just told them I would rotate them myself at home. Most likely won't be bringing my business back here again, this isn't my first time having issues with this location.

Just don’t come here! I’ve bought at least 10 sets of tires from Discount Tire but I will not return to the Old Fort location. I entered and was told it would be an hour maybe hour and a half; wells it’s over two hours later and my vehicle hasn’t moved! There’s a line at the door and they are telling them an hour also and I’m sitting here waiting at two hours. Nope won’t be back here! This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this location either. I was here over 4 hours another time, and decided to try again today. Lesson learned!
