The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring offers a fun and engaging experience, particularly for children aged 2 to 8 years. Visitors often commend the variety of activities and games available, making it a great place for young children to explore and learn. Many families enjoy spending several hours there, although some note that the absence of a food court can limit longer visits. While the facility is generally well-received, there are concerns regarding the supervision of school groups, which can lead to chaotic environments. Some reviews suggest that guided tours or a more structured approach could enhance the educational aspect of visits. The staff, particularly the teenage hostesses, receive praise for their kindness and attentiveness, though experiences with reception and reservation processes have been less favorable. Issues with communication and reservation management have been highlighted, leading to frustration for some visitors. Despite these challenges, many families express a willingness to return, appreciating the learning opportunities and fun atmosphere available at the center. Overall, the Discovery Center is seen as a valuable destination for family outings, especially when planned with consideration for peak visiting times.
Would recommend to anyone who is looking for spring break ESP program for their kids. Each day with a unique theme and the kids are absolutely happy! Thanks Mrs Emi for being so friendly and helpful! PS: I am very happy with the morning walk along the wetland trail after dropping off the kids at 8am.

Admission was overpriced for what was offered ($15/person). The exhibits were very worn and in need of updating. Sadly, it was a rainy day, so we didn't get a chance to experience their outside exhibits, which may have been better.
That said, the staff was wonderful 🥰 and the gift shop was affordable.

Such a cool place for the entire family. We visited for a birthday party and they had private room settings. We loved the mini book and treats store!
