Always love the people and associates who work here but roads are always horrible. Huge hazardous potholes everywhere and cannot see parking lines so cars are constantly parked in the middle of the street creating a higher chance of running into other vehicles. Management really needs to help give this location all the things it needs to thrive.

My friend and I (two black males) visited this location looking for UNO cards. We walked around the store until we saw a female associated and asked if they had any in stock. The female associated explained to us that they did not have any so we decided to leave since that was all that we came in for. As we walked out of the door the white male cashier says to us “are you going to pay for that buddy?” We both stopped confused as to who the cashier was talking to, and what he was talking about. My friend open his hands and said pay for what, as soon as the cashier noticed that my friend had a vape in his hand, and not something he thought we stole he apologized, but we kept walking. I didn’t even notice the vape in my friends hand which further lets me know that we were being watched a racially profiled from the time we entered the store. This gives me another reason not to shop at Dollar General anywhere I don’t care how convenient it may be.

This store is always closed before it’s supposed to be closed and it be a sign on the door saying due to nobody wants to come to work. The manager that be there in the morning always be on the phone gossiping about the few workers they do have while smoking her cigarettes….. I come to this store a few time a week and sometimes multiple times a day and stuff always still in boxes or crates. You can never find anything because of that. Sometimes it get to the point where I opened the boxes myself just to get what I need because I’ll come in day by day just to see if they have put things up yet and still nothing. Please send help to this store, like it’s not any funny someone really needs to get involved… This is inconveniencing a lot of people especially the ones that stay right across the street.

This location is another one that is highly disorganized, merchandise to be stocked in the way down most of the aisles and many empty spots on the shelves. Bypass this store and choose the one on Medical Center Pkwy instead.

This Store had really gone down hill over the last year or two. That being said, they have REALLY turned things around this year. They have the most helpful and friendliest cashier I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I think she only works on the weekend and her name is Natasha. She was a high school math teacher for 10 years, has been married for over 30 years and has two children and 3 grandchildren. I learned all this just by watching and hearing her help Customers find things and run the cash register and I have only been there two times. Both times, she was ALL OVER that store, helping customers, hugging customers (both times, i saw at least 3 customers hug her when they came in) and then running the cashier. In fact, on both of my visits, she was the only employee I saw in the entire store. She was stocking shelves the last time when I first walked in. I know I have made this store review all about this one cashier, but she impresses me that much. Oh, I almost left this part out... the first time I went there, when she was working, the reason I first noticed her was because a customer brought in a potted rose bush as a gift. I have never seen anything like that!

At this point, they should just close this store. It is never open anyway and it is never stocked. I'm tired of trying to make a quick trip and end up wasting my time.
