We weren’t going to shop in store because there is literally always an issue but we decided to go because it was close. We tried to do a transaction with a gift card and the rest on a credit card, but there was an issue with the card payment going through. After the THIRD DIFFERENT card they still claimed it wasn’t their system and that all of our cards didn’t work, okay. It was obviously an issue with the gift card or splitting the transaction but they didn’t seem very knowledgeable or like they knew what they were doing. Would skip this place and just go online or find a different retailer with better customer service if a gift card is not involved. A gift card was the only reason we even stepped foot in there. All three cards worked just fine for the rest of the day btw. Save yourself the headache.

The person with the pink hair started talking trash about old fort game stop when we mentioned them for something then the other lady did nothing but judge me and make faces every time I said something and got upset when I wanted a game case from the back acting like a child.

Went to this GameStop instead of the one on Old Fort Parkway (because of my personal experience from them) and they were better. The lady at the front was nice and she was already having trouble with one customer. So working in the same industry, I knew how she felt. I got a replacement for my $75. I don’t know her name but she was chill. I’m going to that GameStop instead from now on. For those reading this, don’t go to the one on Old Fort Parkway because they don’t care at all.

Genuinely some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Walking in there to do anything and the staff acts like you’re inconveniencing them. Cute girl with short hair there though, she can spit in my mouth

My issue with Gamestop is that they never have xbox remotes in stock which perturbs me slightly and they have to order online. I can overlook this but the real kicker is they cannot order a controller over the phone but only in store. This is unfortunate as i do not recall this being 1985 but rather 2024. So i drive to GameStop for them to order the remote then after a few days i have to drive back to pick it up. Let’s order by phone guys from now on please and thanks.

Went to this GameStop to search for a replacement headset for Xbox series. Not really needing help the guy jumped in and "assisted me". He proceeded to tell me that only certain gaming headset would work for the Xbox series s and pointed towards the most expensive ones in the store immediately. He then pointed towards the cheaper ones and said "these are not going to work for Xbox series s". I have never heard of this and I owned a pair which indeed worked just fine. It was very aggressive and money hungry. Will not return to this location

I purchased an xbox elite 2 controller in 12/16/2022 from the gamestop of 2866 S. Rutherford Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37130 store#5721. When purchasing the controller we were offered a 1 year or a 2 year warranty, if anything happens with the controller we can bring it in and get it replaced with a brand new one, no charge. I recently started having issues with the RB button and took it in today to 1970 Old Fort Pkwy Ste 3, Murfreesboro, TN, and Marvin told me although I was told I would receive a brand new one when I bought it, that they changed the process just 1 month ago and now I'm only entitled to a used or refurbished(fancy term for used) controller. Marvin expressed(poorly) that his hands are tied and there is nothing he can do. I then called customer service and spoke to Marty who said I can take it back to the location I purchased it at and that he would call them before I got there and see if they can take care of me. We get to the rutherford location, Samuel Whitman was very nice and Samuel tried to reach out to his area manager Michelle multiple times and was unsuccessful, he was able to get ahold of his store manager who had authorized for him to give me a new one, but unfortunately the location states they did not have one on hand, just a display box. While Samuel was checking with the location in Smyrna to see if they can help me, the other associate said how Marvin gets complaints left and right, and that he should have offered us a new one to make this right. The Smyrna Nissan location ultimately told them no they wouldn't help us, but told Samuel there is a refurbished controller online that he could order and to offer that to me. I was told when I bought the warranty, if there are any issues I can bring it back within 2 years and get a brand new one. I offered both locations an opportunity to refund me for my warranty, refund me for the controller and take it back or to get me a brand new one which is what I was promised when I was talked into purchasing the warranty. I will take this as far as I need to, policy changes after a purchase that interefere with the promises and prior policies are unethical and I will not let this go. I want a refund for my controller completely, or allowed to turn it in for a brand new elite 2 controller. Contact me. If not contacted I will continue to report this business to all the proper channels.
