I thought goodwill was supposed to give back to the community, not rob them. Their prices are ridiculously expensive. Their floor staff are great & very hard workers & more than likely underpaid & mistreated.

WOW so they close at 6 pm. I got here at 5 and had a few pair of pants to try on. I stood outside the dressing room for 10 mins and no one said a word. When the customer came out of the dressing room they locked the door and said no one could try clothes on. I needed these clothes for a new job tomorrow and would have went somewhere else if I would have known I could not try the clothes on before I bought them.

Honestly I would put a negative number if Itd let me. This has got to be the worst goodwill I’ve ever experienced. And I normally go to a frequently shot up goodwill. I had a good time finding things. But when it came to customer service I was deeply disgusted. There is an older black woman at the cashier(she took off her tag)I have severe adhd and had zoned out, looking through the window, when I see the lady snapping her fingers at me and saying obscure things under her breath. I get to the front realizing my mistake, And quickly apologized(mind you I’m 15 with the shakes) I noticed she seemed upset and older so I handed the clothes slow enough for her to do one items then get to the next. To clear up the situation I asked how her day was going, she responds after 30 seconds and states, “I don’t have time for this, speed it up, I’m getting tired.” Which I once again apologized for and continued placing down items. After realizing they don’t have bags, I had to carry the items I’d bought to another store where I asked for a bag. The cashiers(very nice) gave me personal stories of how their friend had been told by the woman to “stop yawning, because your breath stinks.” Overall terrible lady. Fire her. I will gladly fill in her place.

I would give this place 1.5 but I’m feeling nice today, anyways this place is taxing hard on beat up shoes. 14.99 on Air Force one beaters?! Floor price on pretty much all jeans seem to be 7.99 and appears to be two price sets for shirts, 2.99 for I guess regular shirts and 4.99$! For “nice” shirts. Jackets seeem to be 14.99!!. Considering people donated these items for free and goodwill is marking them up considerably higher than other thrift outlets please, consider taking your business elsewhere, really hard to find something nice unless you arrive on the first day of the week , as soon as it opens. If you want REAL savings go to the goodwill bins.

Goodwill on Shelby ville Hwy sells their nicest Nikes, Addidas, and so on for $9.99 at the most. Goodwill on Memorial sells the nicest Nikes, Addidas and so on from $25 up to $40 I have seen. They only have their nicest shoes on display cause it seems they sell them all to an individual that buys them first. One day I was looking for a nice pair of shoes for a homeless man and didn't see any that I would put on my feet, so why give to someone that already has blown out shoes, when I looked up at the register a man was checking out with 12 or 15 pair of nice shoes. I said I never seen any of these shoes, his reply was, AND U WONT SEE THESE DISPLAYED CAUSE I BUY THEM. Why does Goodwill on memorial charge that much for shoes donated to them. So I'm guessing that each Goodwill is separately owned and operated, and that's why their prices can be set where they want them to be. Frustrating, very frustrating. I'm assuming this last part, but not for sure. Im guessing this man that buys these shoes are re selling them as I heard him say to his wife. I DONT BELIEVE ANYONE WILL BUY THIS PAIR. Can u put these back on the shelf. So I won't be shopping there no more. And to beat all I hear they have a new store owner. Wonder if he knows this about his shoes he gets donated to his business. Stumped me.

Half of the staff was kind the other half TOTALLY RUDE. Refused to open more than one dressing room even with 10 people waiting in line! Yelled at my daughter for no reason too.

Passing through on vacation and stopped in with my daughter. Horrible experience. If you shop here I don’t recommend using the changing rooms.
I looked at the reviews on yelp and should have taken them to heart but since it’s a second hand store I thought it could vary.

I’ve never had to write a bad review until now. Every single time I go into this Goodwill, the white man with the glasses is extremely rude. A lot cashier staff are pretty rude, but he’s unbearable to be around. As a manager you should be kind and helpful, yet he's the complete opposite.

I walked in yest, apparently through the wrong door and immediately was scolded ny the older black lady and older white lady. I never went there before and now I never will again. I walked out just as fast as I walked in. Those ladies were so rude. From the outside there is nothing on the door that says do not use, use other door etc and it was open so I walked in and oh man what am impression from these two. Never in my life have I ever experienced such rudeness and im from NY. I will never donate another thing to Good Will ever thanks to these two

I’d put no stars if I could. I was visiting Murfreesboro and decided to check out this goodwill and they had a wonderful selection of clothes and a very nice store. But the EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE! I had left a pink leather wallet on the counter after learning they didn’t give you bags to put your stuff in and the store was about to close and could get no answer over the phone after I left, nor the next day, so I thought to myself “well I will just go back when I am back in town surely they will have the wallet put up for me or at least make it right when I do go back.” Boy was I wrong! The manager came up to me and basically laughed at me asking for the wallet and told me “oh yea it probably got put back on the shelf.” That doesn’t make sense to me at all. It’s only been 2 weeks if that, since I initially came why would you guys not put it up? Not right. They just left me standing there looking stupid like I’m trying to come into goodwill out of all places to get a “free wallet.” To beat it all the wallet was almost 10$ like I should have just got a new one with that lol oh well. You live and learn! I have reported the incident to HO so hopefully this won’t happen to anyone else. ???

No bags anymore for purchases?!? No other Goodwill does this...no idea what this store is doing. You now have to buy a reusable bag or walk out carrying all your clothes?!? The worker didnt even say anything, at the end of the purchase I was like um do I get a bag? So bizarre, never coming here again. The employees are always super rude as well.
