i purchased paint, and cover was not fully covered. upon arriving home I found paint had spilled out and damaged the bed of my truck. asked for assistance for reporting damage, I was connected with a claim company who ignored my calls and did not help. the situation was never handled

I ordered a stackable LG washer dryer to be delivered and installed. This entire ordeal was a mess. The Home Depot employees couldn't help so I was forced to order online. The website doesn't show the "stackable railing kit" when you purchase a stackable item. That makes sense right? The washer was dented and the lady I spoke to was rude and crass. The delivery guys were great but there was nothing they could do. I can not believe I only got $100 back for a huge dent in the washer. I will never have something installed by Home Depot again after this. No one even attempted to make it right. Oh! And here's a real fun part of this whole experience, I wasn't able to leave a survey. The lady who was rude to me said "please hold for a survey" and then proceeded to hang up on me. Guess she knew what type of response I would be giving her!

i ordered online and it gave an option of delivery on the same day. it gave a notification that it's going to be delivered and it's in transit. it says somebody has to stay home bec signature is required. So we did. Guess what ? nothing was delivered. The next day we called and a manager named Delena says they cant do anything about it bec it's online and there's no driver available!! It was a very poor communication. all they needed to do is to let the client know that delivery is going to be delayed!!!! Very poor management and very poor manager's performance and customer service!!!!!!!You waste people's time!

Kitchen pantry installation. Design was done and signed off on. Expected ETA was 14 weeks. 20 weeks later the installers show up - destroyed the walls. There was no care in pulling out the wire racking, they just yanked on it. We needed to actually repair - not small patch over the drywall. The design team measured 3 times, apparently that wasn't enough as the unit didn't fit. The installers left the rest of the pantry in pieces and left. Designer came back 2 weeks later and we were told our corrections would be put on a rush as our house was now strewn about with pantry items and construction materials. Slow forward 12 more weeks and the installers still didn't have all of the shelves and were missing the baseboard. Now Home Depot is staying that the project will stay incomplete because they sold us something they don't actually make. We can leave the project unfinished or they will come back and rip it out. I am thoroughly disgusted with this experience and would not let anyone I know use them again. Stay away!!

Ok, I know it's like a warehouse, but this place was a disaster on a Saturday with several aisles 3/4 blocked by stock that didn't go there and appeared to have been there for days. I expect the Fire Marshall would have some less than favorable comments. Not sure what the issue is with this location, but I'll make an effort to NEVER go back to this location.

Long review but worth reading. I couldn't make this stuff up. Purchased a washer and dryer with pedestals. Waited for the first delivery and one of the pedestals was literally crushed on the bottom. Back goes the delivery. Second try, box off of the washer, it looked as if the washer was rolled down a hill; no joke. We decided to keep the dryer, even with a little dent on the back, and the two pedestals because they weren't damaged. So now I call the appliance manager and ask what is going on. He said Home Depot has no control over the appliances, which may be true, but he was so unprofessional that it raised by blood pressure. He gave me a phone number and said that I might as well call instead of him because they'd give me the same answer as him. WTF. Unreal. After two screwed up deliveries you would think there would be a little bit of trying to solve the issue but not with this crew. Ok, third delivery the washer had deep gouges, not scratches. The delivery guys hooked up the washer temporarily but would not hook up the dryer sitting in my great room, which, by the way, is approximately 15 feet from the laundry room. Did I mention they installed the washer? See pics. This is their idea of installation. Plain sad. So next my wife goes to speak with the store manager and was told, once again, there was nothing they could do. The manager told my wife that she would call her back tomorrow. Nope. We had enough. We told them to come and take everything out of our house and refund our money. I will never set foot in a Home Depot again (it's a shame because that was my store). We purchased the same setup from another retailer and waited less than one week, compared to the three weeks from Home Depot with nothing to show for it, and everything was right the first time. We are washing clothes at home instead of the laundry mat. If I could give a zero, I would.

We purchased new carpet through Home Depot and the installation crew they contracted with did not install it well. The stairs are wavy and not tacked well. We put up with some unprofessionalism while the crew was installing, but we overlooked it. However, the calls to the installation team and Home Depot yielded nothing. They call center answered and stated it would be over 30 days before they could return to fix the shoddy work. Do not use Home Depot for carpet!

This review is for delivery specifically. I ordered several large construction items to my home through this Home Depot. While the delivery fee is $80 and I had to wait a couple weeks for the items, I was impressed by the service of the workers. First off, a few of my items were damaged and I was called to confirm if I was okay with an upgraded item. Second, the delivery man moved the large items into my backyard for me using a forklift. My husband and I assumed they would have been just dropped off in the front yard and we would have had to move them ourselves, but were so grateful that wasn't the case. The main downside was the 6 am to 8 pm window. This would require most people to take a whole day off work for a 10 minute event. Thankfully, I did receive a 20 minute heads up phone call. Hopefully this review can help you weigh the pros and cons of ordering a delivery. My husband and I would definitely order again.

It's great that they have everything you may need but as far as their customer service goes... they refuse to help. I asked for help from one lady and she said "ya can't help" then walked away without directing us where to find it. The place being so big some of us need assistance. We had a masks on and we're trying to keep appropriate distance so there was no reason for her to run off the way she did. When trying to find other help it seemed like everyone dodged us. You can find me at Lowe's from now on :)

Ms. Debbie is by far the nicest person on the planet. She works at the service desk and was a absolute delight to work with. Home Depot should definitely give her a raise. If you're ever in there, You will enjoy your time there!

Deni, the wonderful lady at the paint department in Murfreesboro, TN provided excellent customer service. She was willing, attentive, proactive, and very kind unlike Ethan who was annoyed that I asked him a question and pretended to look for the paint color that I was searching for in the system. Two types of people in the world, willing and unwilling but Thank God for people like Deni who choose to be helpful when someone needs help regardless of the kind of help needed. Ethan, If you choose to work in a customer service environment than please provide the customer service.

We've been coming to this Home Depot since it opened. Most of our experiences have been good. Today the man at the counter for returns was rude to put it nicely. Then we purchased some items including pine mulch. We went to the trailer to wait for someone to come open it and load us.
