I’ve been using this pharmacy for 3 years with no issues until a recent experience with the new pharmacist. I went to pick up my prescribed medication, which I’ve been consistently prescribed and filled here without problems. On the day of pickup, I was told my prescription would not be filled. No clear explanation was given, and when I went in person to ask for clarification, I was only given vague, run-around answers. Things like I don’t live in the triangle area of the pharmacy, I’m 15 minutes from the pharmacy I choose. The staff half have always been great easy to talk to and very understanding. So this is not about the staff at all just one in particular.
This left me without medication for over a week, which has severely affected my ability to function since I rely on this prescription for a legitimate medical condition. The situation was only addressed after my doctor called five days later, at which point I was told I should “find another pharmacy” because they would no longer fill it.
I understand pharmacists have a responsibility to ensure medications are dispensed safely, but the lack of communication, professionalism, and complete disregard for patient care was deeply disappointing. Patients deserve clear explanations and timely information, especially when dealing with essential, prescribed medication.

The team running the pharmacy today has the most kind and genuine energy of any pharmacy I’ve ever been to. This was the first time in my young adult life a pharmacist asked me “have you ever had this before?” or “do you have any questions about this medication?”… I’ve always used CVS and Walgreens but I sincerely can’t think of a time they asked me if I had any questions. Thank you guys for ensuring healthy medical practice both in store and past the point of your paid responsibility. I pray for your teams continued success.

This pharmacy is horrible. After calling to confirm they shorted me pills multiple times and that they would fix it, the pharmacist said they would be open until 5pm. I arrived 10 mins till closed and the pharmacy was already closed early. No one answered the phone. Do not use this pharmacy!

If I could give this pharmacy a 0 I would. The pharmacist extremely rude and they do not care about their patients at all.

The customer service rep Taylor had a very nasty attitude because she didn’t want to work at the desk. I called management and Brent (manager) insisted that she wasn’t supposed to be working up there. In other words, validating her nasty and ugly attitude since she was supposed to be doing ‘accounting’ work. Their internal issues have nothing to do with customer service. However, management supports such behavior so what can we expect.

No one can outdo Kroger's not even Walmart. And I'm not just saying the pharmacy because I love shopping there I love the people that work there and they have always been there for everybody they go out of their way to make everybody feel special

I’ve only ever had a positive experience with this Kroger pharmacy. The manager is really nice and knowledgeable. It’s always laughs and smiles with the staff here

Between their overcharging and always unavailable medications I cannot get on the correct scheduled routine. I take a twice monthly injection. Problem is, when I run out, they won’t just let me request a refill. I have to wait at least one week after my last dose and then they scrambled around for the next two weeks trying to figure out what they are doing and surprise I have to miss my dose again. There’s another customer with my birthdate so the automated system shuts down on me when I try to use it. The problem there is they are never open anymore and if they are they don’t answer. Don’t even get me started on the several hundreds of dollars they made me give them out of pocket because they were filing it wrong. They’re going to keep on until someone has a medical emergency.

Overall, this seems to be the best pharmacy available in the area.
They do have one employee who is VERY nice but completely messes up our refills every time. I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME. She's older and loses notes, pulls up the wrong patient and puts in random refills for them and not you, takes it upon herself to decide you don't actually need that refill filled after all, etc. She unfortunately seems to be the only one who answers the phone on her scheduled days. Perhaps it's because she messes everything up and her coworkers believe it's the lesser of many evils? Now, if she answers the phone when we call, we call back at a later time in hopes of getting another employee who won't cause us to wait at the pharmacy an extra 45 minutes to straighten things out!
I have to emphasize that the rest of the staff is very competent, kind and helpful. It's unfortunate we live in times where businesses are so desperate for workers, they'll knowingly tolerate any warm body who shows up, even at the expense of good customer service.
