Edited to clarify that we were not asking for a free service. We asked to be billed the $77 extension fee (which you haven’t charged prior to this year) when we filed our taxes post-extension. Why? Keep reading. My wife and I are experiencing sudden pregnancy complications that have landed us in Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for several weeks, which is why we needed the extension in the first place. We have no access to our tax documents.Dwight, when given this information, you stated “Well I’m sorry to hear about your problem, but we’re a business and deserve to be paid for our services.”I don’t disagree, but even though today is a hectic day for tax professionals, your lack of empathy and patronizing tone during the delivery of that information led me to leave this review, which I now stand by, given that you’ve doubled down on the smarmy delivery of your comments.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The previous review below was when Ken was the owner. They have a new owner now, Ken and Karin are no longer there. Last year we lost money on our refund due to this new ownerand I just called to file for an extension...(a service that was always at no charge) to be told en extension now costs $77. Find some place else to do your taxes!!We love Liberty Tax Murfreesboro! Karin makes the entire process easy! I actually don't mind doing my taxes anymore!

Nice place with friendly service. The drop off service was useful and effective, and their help in finding documentation related to the sale of an old property turned what would have been a large payment on my part into a refund.
