Took my car to this location over a year ago for new breaks and rotors. There was a problem and they made a noise as soon as I picked up the car. Had to take it back and they said they fixed the problem despite it still making noise. It has made a noise when braking since I left their shop. The noise suddenly got worse this month so I took it to a different place. Midas had installed the WRONG BRAKE PADS!!!! This had cause them to fit incorrectly and that was causing the sound. Because of this it wore down the rotors prematurely and caused me to have to replace them too soon. They absolutely knew they had made this mistake. It might have been a mistake with the first installation but there was no way they missed it when I took it back within hours of picking it up. They knew and they didn’t care. Avoid this shop.

I’m a long time customer of midas. I get all of my car maintenance through them, primarily the one in cookeville, but to save some time I started to use the murfreesboro location. I got new tires and had them do my brakes, while they did that, they broke my hubcap cover, but didn’t tell me about it, so when i noticed it i went back inside to ask why i was missing one, for them to tell me that it was broken (when it was on there when i dropped it off, and have had no problems with it since i’ve gotten my car) which inherently is aggravating because i wasn’t let known about it. Which i get that it is just a hubcap cover, but new ones for my car are around $100. I spoke to Blake about the situation and he said that he would order new ones for me and call me when they came in, and that was a solid 5 months ago. I kept calling every couple of weeks to check on them, just for him to tell me that they’re still coming in or that he needs to look for them and he’ll give me a call back, and here I am, still waiting for a call or any information on it.

Bad experience. I didn't like the service and they didn't want to cover the warranty when they told them that my car didn't look good.

Do Not Go Here. I took my 2019 Ram in to have a starter replaced. They of course told me all these other maintenance things that needed to be done. I went along with it and picked up my vehicle. I barely made it out of the parking lot because my transmission didn’t work. I parked at a nearby gas station and called Midas to come get the truck. A week and $3000 later I was told the truck was fixed and running great. I took the truck home and the next day it did not start. We towed it back to Midas after the District Manager assured me that he would make this right. Another week has gone by and I just had a call with Steve(district manager) and Blake(store manager) only for them to tell me that they still don’t really know what’s going on but that I may either need a new head gasket,possibly a new motor. My question was if I could just have a refund and tow it somewhere else. Their response was that I can have it towed but no refund will be given because the maintenance they performed was needed(even though it did not fix the problem) They are basically taking my money (over 1200 was in labor alone) and telling me to take it somewhere else. Also, when we picked up the car the second time Blake asked us to bring back in after a week because coolant had leaked into the oil after they fixed it. Now I’m being told that this is what’s causing all the issues but had nothing to do with any maintenance that they did.

Got an oil change here and was very pleased. I am a young female and am no stranger to car shops trying to rip me off and upcharge me. They did find a few minor things but my car is fairly new and they documented it and suggested I try to get it covered by the warranty before paying for them to be repaired. Will be back!
