I went with my Mother in law ( who is a beautifully kind Black woman) to this Walmart after checking out and paying for everything in our cart. We go to leave and the alarm goes off. We are standing by two white women that happen to be leaving at the same time but the Attendant only asked to see my mother-in-law's receipt. After checking our cart to make sure nothing was stolen, my mother in law even is kind enough to show the attendant inside her purse to prove she didn't steal. The attendant then asks is she sure she didn't get any fake eyelashes or press on nails?! I'm appalled at the Obvious racial profiling. After calming down, my mother in law tells me that this is not the first time that this same attendant has approached her asking for her receipt as this is the nearest Walmart to where she lives, she will now be driving out of her to do her grocery shopping because of these experiences. Shame on you walmart

I never like going to Walmart but I HATE this Walmart. Went there today and other customers along with employees were above and beyond rude. Especially when I went through self checkout and I needed cashier approval for some mucinex and I waited while the cashier helped others were helped and I was ignored. When I finally got impatient I finally flagged her down she had the nerve to tell me to calm down even though sin between customers she was chatting with her friends

I love the redesigned store - soo much more airy & open - makes an old man feel safe. My only suggestion would be to cover the signs that advertise dressing rooms since they are closed due to Covid. I came on a rainy Sunday morning to avoid crowds & spend a moderate amount of time picking out jeans to try on (after returning a pair I bought without trying on) to find the tiny sign that indicated they were closed. The manager was wonderful explaining the reason for closing.

There is a problem when you feel unsafe in the parking lot. Please have police patrol the area.. ALOT of people waiting in cars just looking around.. very uneasy Please open more registers that is why they're there

The store is typically kept very clean and stocked. Self checkout is my go to area. They've recently upgraded it and it was a nice change. It takes cash a lot quicker than it had in the past which is nice. They also have scan guns at each terminal making it easier and quicker to scan items. I've also tried the pickup a few times, just because what I was looking for wasn't offered in any of the 10 stores within 30 minutes from my house. Pickup is pretty cool and easy. The only thing I don't like is that when leaving the store now they have their staff stop guests and ask them for their receipts so they can scan them again and double check them. That's a bit of an inconvenience, especially if you have just put it up in your wallet or in a bag. I couldn't imagine doing that if you had children either or if it was freezing cold and now you're standing at the entrance instead of getting in your car. While I get what they are trying to do, police their stores to avoid theft, there may be a better way to do it at the time of purchase instead of waiting until guests are walking out the door. Additionally, most people don't know that you do not have to stop and show your receipt to them. That is their request. You can always continue on walking and refuse to show it.

I never go to a Walmart with too many expectations, but this one was worse than most. They have an abundance of self checkout areas and plenty of regular checkouts; however, they only ever have one maybe two of the regular open. I went on New Years Eve to grab a few last minute things. Obviously it was busy, but did they plan for that? Apparently not because they only had one regular lane opened. I got in line for the regular line because I had several alcoholic products and it's easier to checkout in a regular lane than a self checkout. I waited for about 20 minutes and when I finally approached the worker, she was incredibly rude. She dropped my salad dressing and said "did that bust? Because I don't want to pay for that" then proceeded to ring in my items. At the end I said "have a happy new year!" She rolled her eyes at me and started checking out the next person. Horrendous.
