I was shopping at Publix recently, and while passing by the deli, I overheard a manager speaking down to his employees in a completely unprofessional and disrespectful manner. It was shocking to witness that kind of treatment in a place that prides itself on customer service and a positive work environment. No employee deserves to be belittled, especially in front of customers. Shame on Publix for allowing leadership like that in their stores. Employees are the backbone of any business, and they deserve respect—not to be spoken to like they’re beneath management. Very disappointing.

Clean, they have self-checkout. Deli staff was very friendly and efficient. No corn casserole (Christmas), I wonder if it’s regional and we didn’t get any. All in all it’s well above other groceries in the area as you would expect from Publix.

I want to give a huge shout out to Brandon at the bakery for his outstanding service. He was very kind and helpful when I was selecting a congratulations cake for my sister. His assistance made the process smooth and pleasant. Highly recommend visiting this bakery!

Disappointed in the service at the deli. I went in to place an order in person because I wasn't sure of the sandwich tray sizes and wanted to visually see a tray size. I initially was thinking a small would suffice based on their suggested serving size. I spoke with Gina who was less than happy to be at work. She was unpleasant. I asked if I could see a physical tray just so I could see the actual size of it for persepctive. She got mad and yelled at me to give her a minute, I was in no way rushing her. She walked away. Killian came up and said theres a book right here to Gina. I explained to Killian I had seen the book online but just wanted to see the physical tray size. Gina was walking back with a book when I said that. I repeated it to her when she slammed the book down on the counter. Killian tried to say something and Gina replied "do you want to just deal with her then", I repsponded with "I would prefer someone else help me at this point". Killian took over and said the trays were elsewhere to we walked over to look at them, he did search a bit but found them and ended up upselling me to a large tray (go Killian). Killian was great. I did complain, and it was made clear that this is how Gina is, and she frequently has run in's with customers. On the day I went to pick up the sandwich tray it was not ready and they spent another 30 min trying to finish it. A manager asked me if I was being helped, I explained I was waiting on the sandwich ring that was not ready. He just walked away. Eventually they were able to complete the order and put the rest of it together. While the sandwich tray was a hit at the event and 100% eaten, I would not go back to this deli for a sandwich tray and would go to another publix. Killian was the only positive in that entire deli experience. This review is a reflection of the deli only.
