  I’m so disappointed in this Publix. I used them for my son’s first birthday and the cake was wonderful from the south Rutherford location. However, I used this location for the second birthday and the cake was so ugly I only gave two stars because it tasted good. I even used one of their pre order designs. The writing was weirdly thick and off center, what was supposed to look like dirt was just off colored airbrushed icing that the color got on the other icing, and there were no tire tracks to look like a pathway. 👎🏻

  First, I only put one star because I couldn’t put zero. I placed a cake order on Monday, March 3rd for a pick up on Sunday, March 9th at 2pm. I realized on Tuesday March 4th that I needed the cake a couple hours earlier on the same day. Instead of 2pm, I needed it for 9am pick up time. Not thinking it would be a problem since Publix only requires a 24 hour advance notice on cake orders. However, when I called on Tuesday to simply ask if I “could change the time to 9am”, ANDREA in the bakery said “No, we can’t because we’re booked for the weekend already”. Me thinking to myself “It says a 24 hour advance notice”, and you can’t change the pick up time to 9am and we’re literally 5 days out?! I had her cancel the cake order because I needed it for a different time instead. I proceed to go online to book yet another cake order for the same day but a different time and lo and behold the ENTIRE day is open to pick up cakes! I mean EVERY HOUR, HOUR SECOND! I called her back because now I’m confused. When I asked her about ALL the open times, she then said “We can’t see online orders”, me confused again, how come you can’t because without hesitation, you told me y’all were completely booked for the weekend. Long story that should have been short, ANDREA lied to me! Sad thing is, someone referred me to THIS very in particular Publix and said “They were the best at making cakes and very accommodating .” I call bullcrap! THE BEST AT RUINING MY DAMN DAY!

  Super clean & friendly Publix. No wait at the deli. Bakery smells amazing, per usual. Sticky and delicious limited edition Mardi Gras oven-roasted chicken and some cold press juice for lunch.

  I bought a Visa gift card for my son, which he opened on Christmas to find it had been compromised by scammers. I was worried it was just money down the drain. I was able to locate the receipt, even though it had been around 30 days, and the manager refunded our money after seeing where the card hadbeen scammed. I don't think most stores would have been so understanding. We always shop here because the employees are friendly, the store is organized, and the prices are competitive.
