Hours: Retro Sweets is an amazing candy store located right inside the front door of the mall. The prices are not high, and the staff is very nice, greeting and treating people as if they're family. The store has everything a kid or teen could want, whether they are craving freeze dried, crystal, Japanese, spicy, retro, or Cotton Candy. They also have a candy bar where customers can get a bag and customize what candies they want. The selection is great, including soda pops, flavored cotton candy, nostalgia candy, and bulk candy. The owners are amazing and incredibly sweet, and the staff makes it a point to make everyone feel welcomed and give great suggestions. The store has been remodeled and looks new and cute. A favorite item is the Pucker's powder machine for sour candy that melts in the mouth. The owners solve customers' problems, like when a staff member went into the back to get a separate pack of Blue Raspberry salt water taffy for a customer and did not charge for it. Customers spend around $20-$100 each visit and return nearly every weekend. Retro Sweets is the best candy store and should be a top priority for all fun candy needs.
