Save A Lot is a discount grocery store known for very cheap, low prices on fresh fruit, veggies, and quality meats. The store is clean, and the friendly staff, including a very nice cashier, is noted. However, experiences are hot or miss. The store has changed a lot over the years, with prices gone up and some items even more expensive than Kroger, though not as cheap as Walmart. Product availability is inconsistent, with many empty areas and sparse stock being very normal. The selection is not much, though the weekly deals and pick 5 option are highlights for grocery shopping on a budget. Cosmetically, it looks more professional but less welcoming, and it does not sell the same products it used to.

As soon as I stepped in the door..I did a double take. because this store is the cleanest, great smelling, shiniest savealot I've ever been in..and I used to work for the company!!
