I think that this place does have an excellent selection of outdoor gear. However, when I went last time, there were several items, well, really an entire aisle, with no prices whatsoever. That is something I really don't like. Additionally, when you take something up to the register to find out the price, you will see that everything is overpriced.

Sold a gun that wouldn’t cycle properly. When I called them, they said to come in and they would see what they could do. Wasted an hour round trip for me to walk and and hand the gun back to me and said they couldn’t do anything. The bare minimum should have been to tell me on the phone so I don’t waste an hour of my evening..

Very disappointed, went in Tonight looking fora couple of particular life jackets and a fish finder, which online said they were all available for pickup at this location. It’s not close but there are not many of these stores anywhere near me, so I make the drive and can’t find any of them. There is absolutely no e working anywhere in the store that I can find so I go to the register and ask for help, someone came out of the office and never even looked for the items, he just said if I didn’t see them then they were all sold out. I said it says available in store online and he said again “sold out” and walked away. I was tempted to curse him out for being rude right then, but I just left. I very seriously doubt I’ll ever shop there again.

Just spent at least 15 minutes at the gun counter at the Murfreesboro store to try to buy pistol primers that used to be on the shelf.
Four people working behind the counter and nobody offered to help get them for me. Finally just gave up and walked away.

I bought a bergara riffle on line for pick up the next day at the Murfreesboro, TN location. I arrived at the store at 10 am. It’s now 3:15 pm, and I’m still waiting for the order to arrive at the store from the corporate office. It’s a 1 1/2 hour drive one way for me. I was told to go have lunch and come back. I don’t want lunch! I want my rifle I already paid for! I was told an hour later that I should just go home and come back tomorrow. NO! I’m not driving 6 hours for a rifle that I already paid for, and can see on the rack. This is totally unacceptable customer service!

Traveled an hour and 1/2 one way to buy arrows at Murfreesboro, which they are supposed to cut to length, only to be told we don’t have anyone working today that can cut arrows. It’s a Saturday at what’s supposed to be a premiere sporting goods store. Ever hear of cross training? Obviously they are not a premier store anymore. Said their entire archery supervisor staff cut by corporate. Guess they are losing customers and just lost another one. I guess Cabela’s is the place to go. Very frustrated and disappointed. Called SWH customer service with no satisfaction. I’m not going back but you better call before you go to make sure they have enough staff to cover the basics of outdoor equipment.
