Our pets receive better care at their veterinary clinic than our children have received at this joke of pediatric office!! We have been patients since 2013 and somewhere down the line the philosophy of actually treating and caring for patients has completely changed. Arrogance and ignorance completely describes 2 so called doctors at this establishment. Appalling behavior in every way! Needless to say, we no longer go to TN Pediatrics.

I’ve had two kids see former Dr. Mallette and Dr. Hoey for 14 years. We’ve yet to experience anything but wonderful care and front desk service.

Been trying for weeks to get through on the phone to make a wellness check for my 5 year old and have never been able to get through, constantly on hold and impossible to speak to an actual person. We will be changing doctors moving forward, I'm tired of dealing with this every year. It is completely absurd and sad experience that our community must endure for our children's health.

I have been taking my children here since 2018/2019. I have had two more children since then as well - despite what everyone else says - our experience has been great. Dr. Claycomb is one of the best providers my children have had. He is very straight to the point, professional, and informational when it comes to my children's care.The nurses are personable - and make things easy for my children and I whenever they are seen.Although, I have had an experience with another provider here when Dr. Claycomb was out of office - and I'll say she wasn't very pleasant, and she came off very passive aggressive.. even the nurse that worked with her. I unfortunately cannot remember her name, but I do remember her face - I will wait for Dr. Claycomb to be in office again before having to experience such a rude nurse, & not very informative/passive aggressive provider again...

We have been coming to TN Peds since 2009. The oldest sees Dr. Henschel for his ADHD (he is the amazing and highly experienced in dealing with children with ADHD) and my youngest two see Dr. Eastham. Since covid there have been MANY issues with front desk staff and long wait times. However, I have recently seen a big improvement in every aspect of this office. They pickup the phone when you call now (yay!) and are friendly. We also have not waited more than 20 mins to be called back. I feel like they are listening to our concerns and are trying to improve, be patient because it can't change overnight. I am glad we stayed and did not go to another office because we really do love Dr. Henschel and Dr. Eastham.

I have to say I am super happy with this place and my experiences with it. Both of my daughters are patients here, their doctor is Timothy Henschel. He has been fantastic. He's always been so friendly and taken such good care of my girls. Any time Ive had any questions or concerns I've called up there and got it took care of immediately. I'm just so happy with everything. Thank y'all so much!

They made my husband pay a $20 copay even though we had met our deductible back in April. I have calling them for the past 3 hours trying to get the refund and I’m getting bounced around from person to person and even got hung up on TWICE! Unacceptable! They should have seen that we don’t owe a copay based on us satisfying our deductible and now it’s a hassle to get the money back from them. They are not responsive at all and are giving me the run around over the refund. I will have to contact BCBS to get them to call the office for me to get the refund issued if they continue to ignore our request which is egregious.

We have been going for 4 years. The nurses and office staff are awful here. We have to wait over an hour whenever we go for anything. I unknowingly missed an apt. today and the lady who called me about it was extremely hateful on the phone. We really like Dr. Henschel but im done.

I have had nothing but issues with this place. I have rescheduled an appointment for my daughter and I got the email to confirm, they tried to tell me that they called to cancel that! Not true! I had an email confirming my appointment and the lady in the front didn't believe that I had an appointment today till I showed her the email! They are so disorganized and disrespectful!!

We've been longtime patients of Dr Henschel and we adore him, but we're no longer doing business here because of the terrible staff. waiting 30+ minutes with an appointment is terrible and we'll go elsewhere

Every time I call, I am put on hold for a very long time. Sometimes 30 minutes or more. Today we had an appt, & just like always, we sat in the room waiting to be seen for 1 hour. They expect us to be on time for our appointment, or we are rescheduled. They should hold their business to the same or higher standards. Why even make appointments if you aren’t going to honor them.

The doctors and nurses in the back were the nicest and did a great job. But the ladies at the front desk were not it, the Hispanic lady who was trying to translate treated us very poorly, she had an attitude like we had done something to her. She needs to learn manners.

I am in the same boat as everyone else. Fantastic doctors but awful staff upfront / people who answer phones. We ADORE Dr. Carnes, she is amazing. The other docs we’ve seen for sick visits are too. But the people who work the front desk are miserable and not knowledgeable. They are always unfriendly. I’ve been taking my son here for FIVE years and the upfront people have always just been awful. Not being able to get ahold of people on the phone can be frustrating too, but that is why I use the app. I do always get a call back, usually same day.

All 5 of my children have been patients here seeing Dr. Little up until he retired, the youngest 2 still see a doc here. The doctor is not the problem, the doctors here are all great! The front office staff is the problem! Every time I have called to TRY and make an appointment NO ONE EVER ANSWERS.......EVER! This is very frustrating because of this TWICE I've had to take my son to a walk in clinic. Their prerecorded message says "due to national staffing shortage" they are experiencing a longer hold period......you literally hold forever and then it will disconnect. This is unprofessional for a pediatrician office, heck for any doctor's office! I'm pretty sure most if not all doctors are completely unaware of this situation. DO BETTER TENNESSEE PEDIATRICS!! BABIES AND KID'S HEALTH DEPEND ON IT!!!
