It used to be a great pharmacy but now, the drive-thru is closed except for Covid testing. They used to be fully staffed but now you might see 2 people working. So, it takes about 2 hrs to get a prescription & you have to go inside. Avoid this pharmacy.

Speaking for the store part only as I don't deal with the pharmacy aspect, I personally love this location. Pretty much always find what I need. It is easy to get through the aisles. With the app, I'm able to add digital coupons. Typically, the sales are good but like most places you have to watch closely for extreme deals. The cashiers are always friendly though it does seem like they may have frequent turnover. In general, from experience I know working retail is much like working in food service-you get some really nice customers and then there are those who are demanding. Overall, this is an easy location to get in and out to grab some essentials and save some funds.

Today (July 27), after chewing out my dr's office for not acting on a prescription refill request I made on July 22, I found out it was Walgreens' incompetency at fault. I kept phoning Walgreens to check "prescription status" as I have gone to the store on previous occasions to pick up a prescription that should have been ready only to find it was not. I kept getting the same automated message---"Hm-m. I don't see----etc-" I found out that the prescription had been sent to Walgreens by the dr's office on the 24th. Either Walgreens hadn't filled it in 3 days or their automated notification system stinks. (That has happened before when I used the automated system to order a valid refill, was given the message that it was to be filled and wasn't.) Within an hour of the complaint to my dr's office, the nurse called me back saying that Walgreen now has my prescription.

This is the worst pharmacy in Murfreesboro. They are so slow and have filled my prescriptions wrong and left prescriptions out. I sat in the drive through for over 20 minutes and they filled the wrong prescription. Shame on me for pulling away before checking for accuracy. Went inside to tell them and the pharmacist told me they had forgotten to fill. I told her I'd waited over 20 minutes in line and that I did not want to wait in the inside line of 10 people. She said I had to go to the end of the line. This pharmacy is the worst and I will take my business to Kroger Pharmacy from now on.
