Wilson bank and trust is a great bank. When I got my car they did everything they could so I could bank through them.

Worst customer service I've experienced at a bank and I used to bank with Bank of America.Came in after being called yesterday about a check I deposited at the ATM for my husband into my checking account to then transfer to our joint savings. I was informed that they are unable to do that and I had to pick up the check.I came up to the bank when they opened and was assisted by a customer rep who then asked another woman for help. This person did not acknowledge me and I was informed she would go get the check from the ATM. Another woman, who I assume is the manager then loudly goes on about "somebody tried to deposit a check that wasn't theirs trying to be slick". I assume to another co-worker since she was hiding in her office. I stood there listening and thought about how ignorant and unappealing the behavior was. This"manager", again I'm assuming because after getting out of her hole; decided to walk around and ask customers who were waiting in line, what they needed. I stared her down as she refused to look me in the face.The other woman obtaining the check from the ATM who did not acknowledge me and only asked for the name on the check then comes 30 grueling minutes later and starts tapping on her keyboard. I told her I was not depositing the check. After I take the check she then decides to ask for ID.I honestly could have deposited the check to our savings account but after this stunt I'm disgusted with the behavior of those specific staff members. I have never had a bad experience with the Smyrna branch and should have gone there instead. But I live closer to this branch, honestly it seems like I definitely will take my business elsewhere.

Went to deposit my check like I have done so many times before and was denied for reasons that have never been a issue before , as a person who uses this bank for my business I need to be able to deposit quick and don’t have time to go change them cause the teller was unsure of her job.

They seem to be a little over the top with the virus paranoia. BUT they did let us in (after a few calls) to open a new account. Then everything went smoothly. Branch manager was competent and friendly. Best free checking in the area. App is good.

Visited this location when attempting to get a home loan. I was debating on either a VA loan or conventional since I was a first time home buyer. The woman that helped me was very rude, she did not explain things well, acting as if she did not have time to help me. She also answered her cell phone twice in the 15 minutes I spent with her. I wrote an email to their manager and the response I received was simply "I'll look into it." No apology. I later had an experience in which I called the headquarters in Lebanon to ask about getting a new debit card sent to me in the mail. The young lady I spoke to then refused to allow me to explain the situation, and continued to interrupt me stating I needed to go to my local branch and request it. I had a situation in which that was not an option at the time. I have not been impressed with their lack of customer service.

I tried to apply for a credit card here as I have a checking account here as well. Maggie was very rude about the fact that I am 21 years old and have not yet established credit. It is entirely absurd to be treated poorly because I am young and need to start building my credit somewhere. Trish was also extremely rude when I deposited cash. (my main source of income as a server is through cash) She snapped at me because I only have “one account here” as if there’s an expectation that I have multiple accounts at my age when I don’t yet have a lot of savings. Astonishing levels of snobbery, I will be changing banks immediately.

I have done business with many banks over the years and I rank Wilson at the top. Best customer service, and if something is wrong they go to great efforts to make it right.

Great bank with friendly service and professional staff. It is the best bank in Middle Tennessee by far!
