Awful experience. Truck surpassed the agreed upon delivery window. Move coordinator offered zero support and was extremely unempathetic. We were forced to spend thousands of dollars on hotel stays as we waited for the truck to arrive. Company said that since the truck had maintenance issues, they weren’t responsible for anything. This was our 3rd cross-country move and it was by FAR the worst experience we have had. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody that is in need of moving services. Ever.

This was the best move we ever experienced. The crew was upbeat and friendly and just a pleasure to work with. They were so careful with our belongings and our house. They went above and beyond and paid attention to every little detail. They were fast and efficient and very hardworking. I hope we never have to move cross-country again, but if we do, we are definitely using Coleman again. So grateful for all they did for us.

Unfortunately my positive experience ended after the initial assessment. Communication was lacking. I wasn’t given 24hrs of notice for delivery. Then I accommodated their ask to come a whole day early & they were more than 5 hours late. It was due to the driver oversleeping who found it funny. I lost a whole day of work due to their lack of communication & planning. They damaged my walls & broke a few things. Put together a bed they collapsed. Broke a piece of furniture & then put together another piece of furniture that almost collapsed. Thankfully I realized it myself & fixed it.

All in all, fantastic from start to finish. Professional, prompt with service and delivery, and no major issues. I had an 830 mile move, and everything turned out great.

Move went seamlessly. Movers were careful moving furniture so that no furniture or home received scratches.One detail which was a slight inconvenience was move coordinator said move would be 2-3 hours but took 7-8 hours with two movers. Mover professionals were very hard working and careful.

The team at Allied were responsive and followed up with me throughout our move. I have used Allied for two cross country moves and I am very happy with the service they provided.

I would never recommend using this company to anyone. The salesman was fantastic and the move coordinator was fantastic. The movers were extremely nice and polite. However, that’s the only good thing I can say. We have so many damages it will take forever to get everything fixed, repaired or replaced. We haven’t submitted the insurance claims yet because we are still cataloging everything then they make you get repair quotes. They don’t send an insurance adjuster. They left our furniture unwrapped and just stacked it in the truck on top of our lawnmower which left grease and rust stains on furniture. They broke glass table tops. Put dents and scratches on all our large appliances. All our couches and recliners now have stains, rips, and tears in the fabric. They did not wrap the headboards and footboards to our beds and they now all have gouges and scratches all over them. They ruined the frames on our expensive artwork. They refused to take our elliptical upstairs in the new house. They dented, scratched, and mucked up doorframes and walls in both houses…honestly I could keep going but what’s the point… we are definitely not happy and it’s going to take forever to get this all straightened out

My experience with this moving company was an absolute nightmare. DO NOT trust your belongings with this company. They allowed a significant portion of my shipment to be STOLEN, and the reaction of the company was one of indifference and unconcern. My belongings were gone through, boxes opened, and high dollar items stolen. It was an absolute violation of trust as well as obvious carelessness by this company. When I called about the issue, I was denied a refund for my over $8,000 move and told my ONLY option of recourse was to submit an itemized list of missing items for reimbursement. When you have no idea how many boxes were stolen, or what all each box contained, how can you possibly accurately itemize a list for reimbursement? Additionally, can you put a price on the devaluation of your trust, security, and loss of meaningful items that absolutely cannot be replaced? I have never been treated with such disrespect by a company that had claimed to have my best interest in mind, who I trusted with the possessions of my ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD, only to indifferently be told by the driver, “It will all be replaced.”This company either employees untrustworthy thieves, or has such careless practices that they would allow the trusted contents of someone’s beloved household to be exposed to areas where others may prey upon a vulnerable situation.My sincere hope is that this company goes out of business, or goes bankrupt, so that they may NEVER have the opportunity to rob another customer of their TRUST, ASSURANCE, OR PRICELESS VALUABLES.

Allied/Coleman moving was awesome from the beginning of the process to the end. Our moving consultant Jim was fantastic, Samantha our moving coordinator was also amazing and Derek, Robert and the moving team were outstanding! Highly recommend this company for your next move.

The loading went smoothly but the delivery was terrible. For starters they did not put any mats down to protect our floors. Getting finished quickly was evidently more important than making sure boxes were placed in the correct rooms. The worst part was they delivered some very large pieces of a sleep number bed that are not ours. These are some really large pieces and a lot of them. It has been a week since we notified the company and no one has picked them up yet. We are still making our way through our boxes but I'm pretty sure some large pieces are missing.

On moving day the company showed up with a truck much too small to pack all of our items. This meant that items had to be left in our home and returned for two days later. This delayed our entire moving process. Upon delivery there were countless items broken including kitchen boxes labeled “fragile” and furniture. Absolutely would not recommend this company and I won’t be using them again.

Good salesmanship, poor execution. Not the worst moving experience but, when I voiced some frustration, I was told that some customers get excited when their shipments arrive only a month late. Yay! Won’t be back…

Do not hire Allied Van Lines or any of its affiliates. They will destroy all of your stuff and then do anything and everything they can to try to get out of taking responsibility. Trust me. If you want to destroy your belongings, just save yourself thousands of dollars and set your stuff on fire instead of paying Allied to destroy it for you. Listen to the people who have posted one star reviews. The scumbags in the claims department are extremely combative and rude. They try to make the process as difficult as possible so they wont have to take responsibility for their negligence. JUST STAY AWAY!
