I went in to replace my bad battery with a new one. Kev did my replacement and the new battery didn’t work so I asked to get it tested to make sure the new one was charged. He was very hesitant and persistently told me that everything with his battery and installation was fine and that my car was the issue. I asked him to put in my original battery back in just to check that the battery terminals are okay. The original battery worked so he apologized and said he would go grab a new one. Kev never returned. I was told by other AZ employees friends that Kev had left. I went in to address the issue with a manager and the managers would not help me. The main manager, amanda who i later found out (through Wes) was the one that was supposed to handle the situation from the beginning, wouldn’t even speak to me and immediately left to go on lunch break once another assistant manager filled her in. Eventually, I was able to get another assistant manager to help, Nicholas, but he was also very reluctant to listen to what had happen and help solve the problem. Once he finally came around to help me and went to install a new battery for me, we noticed that my battery hood down was missing. Nicholas told me that the Kev employee had taken it but supposedly there was no way of contacting Kev because he is a minor. At this point since no manager was helping me, I called the non-emergency police line and had to file a police report on my missing part. Immediately, Nicholas somehow was magically able to get in contact with Kev. Kev said that the part was there when he took the original battery off but supposedly didn’t know where it went. No one including myself had touched the vehicle since Kev. Nicholas then went inside and never came back outside which made me even more agitated so i went inside to remind the management staff that they still haven’t fixed the issue that them and their employees have created. Right before the police showed up, another assistant general manager, Wes, was forced to help me because no other manager would help me and my frustration of being ignored was rising. We both started off addressing the situation fueled with frustration and anger, but once Wes heard what happened while i was debriefing the police, he began to address the situation much better than any of the other managers. Wes ended up being the most helpful and provided simple solutions to problems that occurred over 3 hours prior. Throughout the whole 4 HOUR situation (3.5 hours of me standing outside in the sun) no employee would give me the regional or district managers information and claimed they didn’t have it until Wes showed me where they are located. Overall a situation that could’ve VERY easily been solved but due to the the neglect and non caring nature of the staff and management staff of AutoZone #00005963 it escalated into a much bigger problem. Manager Amanda and manager Nicholas need to have better training on how to address situations with customers and Kev needs to be trained on understanding that sometimes the customer knows what they’re talking about, even if they are a young lady, and there’s no reason to leave work if they’re right.

AZ's attention to customer service and storing my purchase history differentiate them from other auto parts retailers. AZ will help you find what you need, and keeps up the records in case you have a issues later. I drive twice far to shop at AZ.

Nicholas was so sweet and helpful, he helped me pick out the correct windshield wipers for my Subaru and also installed them for me! I highly recommend this Auto Zone for any of your auto part needs. I will definitely be going back!

Went in kinda late , around 10:30 pm the guy behind the counter was clueless. I left with more questions than answers. I love autozone, but this wad not my favorite
