Scheduled an appointment to get a remote start installed about a month ago. I schedule everything at work so I can leave early, I drive 40 minutes to my appointment and turns out, they didn't they didn't even order the parts. They tell me I have to schedule another appointment to get it installed. I'm not at the mad at the employee or anything. Everything was set up through their website and their call center. I'm just kind of upset at Best Buy itself. I received at least 4 reminders prior to my appointment and everything.

14 day return policy is ridiculous. Make sure you know that before purchasing .

The return policy, especially in these times of inflation, is ridiculous! Bought a Christmas gift for my husband on 12/23, gave it to him on Christmas Day, 12/25, he couldn't decide if he liked it. When he decided to return it, we had the snowstorm that snowed everyone in and caused store hours to be limited for an entire week. Finally had a chance to try and return it on 1/27 only to be told there was NOTHING they could do, not even an in-store credit . Manager was NO help, wouldn't even consider the week of snow being an obstacle for getting there and, in fact, made me feel like an idiot for even asking. What has happened to good customer service these days??? Nobody cares about the customer anymore! We have been loyal customers at this store for many years and have spent lots of money, purchasing computers, appliances, cameras, smart watches, etc. In fact, we spent over $3,000 in a two-month period before Christmas. This is so unfortunate as now we will take our business elsewhere. I understand not offering a refund since it was outside their 13-day return period, but good grief, most companies offer at least a 30-day return, 60-day in-store-credit. Not a happy customer. No longer a customer. Done!

Walking in front door emplee asked what I was looking for. I said head phones. Employees response oh that by the head phone area. Not what I was expecting. Not the same experience I used to receive.

Empty shelves for a week after Christmas. Apparently the physical store doesn't deserve more attention

It's Best Buy. Service is good. They, or someone else on shift can typically run down the rabbit hole with you for your favorite device/or hobby that you (Me!) Know way too much about it. Competitive prices, usually. The Geek Squad protection plan keeps me coming back. No questions asked, you're within the timeframe and it doesn't look like it was in a blender; Approved. Replacement on the spot. That's what you're paying for.

The gentleman that helped us was adequate. We were there to pick up a computer we ordered online. After this experience, I will continue to shop online. The only thing brick and mortars have is the ability to talk to someone in person, work through the sale of the product and have it immediately. All these factors were not in play and the interaction was not above and beyond. The armed security guard was quite nice and did wish us a happy holiday.
