I don’t like to leave bad reviews. But I had a horrible experience. This vehicle was not ready for the road. We had a Chevy Traverse. The vehicle had not been cleaned out. There was trash and you could tell it had not been wiped down at all. The vehicle needed an oil change. And some of the headlights were out, which caused the high beams to come on automatically at night. It was a horrible driving experience as we were blinding everyone on the road. Please ensure vehicles are road ready. We paid to have a good experience. This was my first time renting with Budget. I don’t think I will rent with them again.

The rep that helped me was great. Great attitude. When I went to return the car I filled it up and the lady that check it in said I was good. I even asked her about the fuel gage. She said everything was good. Well I got charge 17.50$ for 1.3 gallon of gas. After being told everything was good. They try to nickel and dime you. Very unsatisfied

My experience with the staff inside the airport and outside was super friendly fast and nice. Upon getting outside to pick up the Dodge Ram I reserved I hoped in and before I made it out the parking lot I realized the inside was filthy. The desk was helpful with allowing me to view other trucks and select a different one. I decided on an F150. Once I left with it I got the new email confirmation for the F150 and it said the rank was full however it was on 3/4 of a tank.

I rented a SUV in End of Oct. 2023. I got a great car, new, clean. The company did not charge me anything in addition - fees, insurance, as happens with the less-known car rental companies. Very quick and easy check-in and extremely fast and efficient check-out. I am extremely happy with my choice and the service provided. Keep this excellent service. Thank you very much.

The experience picking up the car after arriving via flight to Nashville was atrocious. My family arrived on a flight that was scheduled to land around midnight, and that is when I scheduled pickup. Obviously many other people were doing the same, and the line at the Budget counter was an hour long at 12:30AM even though Budget knew how many people would be picking up cars then (everyone in line had a reservation). Simply based on that one experience, I will never rent from Budget again. The car was okay with regard to roominess and capacity of passengers, but very difficult to operate. The mirrors reset to pointing down every time the Tahoe was put in reverse and would stay in that position and have to be moved to be useful. The driver seat would not stay in the set position and when stopping the car and getting out, it would automatically recline to the point where the passenger sitting behind the driver would be squished. The final cost was far higher than I was quoted and charged, with no explanation given for the difference in what I was charged. There was a scratch down the entire driver's side, and a dent, though neither were noted on Budget paperwork. When returning, there was no acknowledgement of the existing damage to the car. This experience sucked.

I recently rented a Nissan Rogue from Budget Rental and was very disappointed with the condition of the vehicle. The front bumper was missing pieces of plastic trim, exposing rough edges. This gave the car an unfinished, damaged appearance. More concerning were the bald front tires, which caused the Nissan to shake violently at freeway speeds - a scary safety hazard!Inside, the armrest was torn and tattered. Coupled with the exterior damage, this gave the impression that Budget does not properly maintain their rental cars. Throughout my trip, the car made loud squeaking noises which were annoying and distracting.While Budget's rates may seem attractive, renting from them is a gamble in terms of whether you'll receive a safe, properly maintained vehicle. I would caution others to avoid Budget based on my experience renting this poorly maintained Nissan. When you're on the road, safety, comfort and reliability should be your top priorities, and Budget failed to deliver. I'll be taking my business elsewhere next time.

CHECK YOUR TIRES. We recieved a vehicle with the tires basically worn to the threads, we got a flat tire warning after driving it less than 2 hours. Not only was this a safety risk but shows a huge negligence in the operations and standards for this company. The customer service basically said if it was found to be our fault we would have to pay for the tires.Check the odometer as well, our receipt showed incorrect mileage logged when we check out the car, basically trying to lump 38k miles on our on having the rental 2 days.

Usually, Budget gives us fantastic service. However, the car we rented at the Nashville airport was infested with ants, which we didn't find out until we were well on our way to Knoxville. Removing them was a 5-day process. Also, typically my pre-paid reservation always covers the cost of the rental. In this case, we were charged over $70 more upon returning our car, even though it had a full tank of gas. Please explain why.

This is the second time that we have rented with Budget at Nashville Airport. Five years ago, we were helped by Abdul, who was very courteous, very friendly, well mannered, smiling, and gave us good advice on where to look for property (we were there to look for retirement property we were there to purchase). He gave us very good information on this and we in turn bought in the area he recommended. Just last weekend, we flew into Nashville again to go and check on our property we had purchased 5 years earlier. Abdul was there again and helped us with our rental. We had a good conversation with him and told him we remembered him from our previous trip. He was still friendly and displayed a positive attitude. Thank you again for helping us and making our trips to Nashville start with a great upbeat vibe.

There is 1 person working the counter on a Monday at 5pm. This is a joke, it has to be. First rental with budget in 4 years, and this will be my last time. Boo this company and their straight up lack of carrying about their customers. What a jokeSeriously this is the worst rental car desk in the airportMismanaged and the full Avis desk refuses to help.Avoid

The checking counter was a bit understaffed when we arrived Friday evening. Took about 20 minutes or so to get our rental car but other than that are experience was excellent! The car was clean, full of gas and in great condition. The check-in process could not have been any easier! Would definitely use budget again!

I would give them zero stars if I could. Rented us a vehicle with tires looking like this. After driving in a horrible storm for about 150 miles in the back hills of Hazard Kentucy we parked and see our tires looking like this! Budget's CS sucked and their idea of help was a joke! After 3 hours on the phone with them, we paid out of our pocket to have to have the car towed, two front tires on so that we could get make it to our family reunion... we didn't make it and am still battling with them for our Reimbursement.

One star for dirty vehicle at pickup.... Clearly someone didn't take much time if any cleaning after it was returned last, we found food all over, disgusting windows, even the old voucher they gave the last people in the door pocket. I know it's a minivan and kids will be kids, but it seems like they just vacuumed quickly and that was it! The counter help at the airport was very helpful, but the person who checked is in when we dropped off was on a personal phone call the whole time and didn't say much to me besides "you got the key" and "you're good" after he had scanned the car...... Definitely room for improvement!!!!!!!!!!

The service was friendly, professional, and efficient. The rates were reasonable. The initial car they rented us was having transmission problems, so we took it to a Budget center in another town and they gave us a replacement quickly and with no troubles. We were particularly impressed with our agent, Fatima, when we were turning the car in at the Nashville airport. We had forgotten to refill the tank and Fatima was awesome - she let us know it was no problem, let us know how to exit the lot, gave directions to the nearest station, and since we were blocked in a really tight spot by another car, she very expertly guided us out. She saved us a lot of money and her beautiful smile brightened our day. Thanks Fatima. Thanks Budget.

Budget was very easy to book with. Desk agent was super friendly and very helpful. Car was clean but smelled a little like a smoker had been in it. Other then that it was great. I got a good rate and good economical car that was perfect for my traveling around Tennessee. I would definitely use Budget again.
