I was really disappointed with the energy and enthusiasm from the staff during my recent visit to Build-A-Bear. The whole experience felt flat and uninviting. Part of what makes Build-A-Bear special is the excitement and interaction, but the team seemed disinterested and unmotivated.
It’s hard to enjoy the experience when the people leading it don’t seem happy to be there. This visit didn’t have the fun or magic I’ve come to expect from Build-A-Bear. I hope the staff can bring back the enthusiasm that makes this brand so special.

We love BAB, but this location is highly disappointing. The staff were standing around talking about trying to sell more to clients to make more money. One male staff member smelled of body odor so badly that we couldn't stand near him. They rushed my daughter thru like a line of cattle. We have had such sweet experiences at other locations, but this one is not that! Had we been new customers, we wouldn't have even known what to do next or how to do it.
The computers wouldn't even let us put the bears name and owners name on the certificate, I was told I could write it in. We forgot our certificate and had to walk all the way back into the mall to retrieve it and I was offered an old marker that barely wrote, to do so.
I wouldn't recommend this BAB location.

My first experience at build a bear and the staff were so helpful, we had no problems getting what we needed most importantly it was fun.

my boyfriend and i went the day after valentine’s day since i ordered him a bear unstuffed for the holiday.
i was also bringing in the one he got me last year to get restuffed.
the girl who stuffed them for us was very obviously flirting with him and i didn’t notice until she barely said a word to me once it was my turn, like girl wth
if you’re gonna flirt with my boyfriend in front of me and make him feel awkward, at least be friendly towards me
the string fell out of the build a bear i got for him so we had to go to the front counter to get both of our bears rethreaded. Peyton helped us and she was so sweet! amazing customer service from her as a service worker myself.
can’t remember the other girls name tho lol
i thought i was just overreacting because i was very hurt that she only said a few curt words to me after chatting it up with my bf, but once we left the store, he told me she was definitely flirting 💀

We went to make memorial bears for my late mother. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only drawback is the price. We purchased 4 bears with audio recordings, we didn't buy clothes or accessories and it cost about $140.
