Great selection of dry goods and produce as well. I’ve tried the chicken, lamb, and steaks ranging from the lower to higher end of price range and all were excellent. “Sperry's Mercantile is my favorite specialty food retailer! Same great proteins they use in the restaurant but you take them home and cook it yourself. Amazing Smoked Tuna and smoked tuna dip, the chicken salad is the best in town and the cakes, which you can buy whole or by the slice are incredible. On top of all this you get warm and helpful service from everyone who works there. Thanks Sperry's!”

“This is a great little carniceria right off Harding Place in Nashville. Fresh cuts of meat adorn cases prominently displayed as you go through. Also lots of seafood options too. You can get your fresh cheese and even spices here. I came primarily for chorizo. I wound up, leaving with two different kinds plus Carne adobada. Boss man threw in a couple of seasonings he wanted to try as well. It was well worth the price. They even offer rotisserie chicken meals here. You know you're at the right place when you see the large grills lined up outside. The smell is always amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm sure some of them speak English, but being that I'm bilingual, I have never had a problem. I highly recommend that you give it a whirl. You're bound to find something here foodwise that you'll enjoy preparing at home.”

“We were only in town overnight to go to tour the Grand Old Opry, and needed dinner "on the go". Everyone was helpful and friendly. My 10yo found a drink, called Loty, which was a chocolate drink with delicious coconut pieces, and some interesting candy choices. I have a restricted diet, but found exactly what I needed.. There were plenty of wonderful fresh fruits and vegetable choices to fill anyone. A large selectionof dairy, cheese, and creams too. They had an enormous variety of chips, drinks, fresh meats, and so many other wonderful choices of products from all over most of Central America. I would absolutely recommend this market to any person that wants a fresh cooked meal or a "sugary" snack.”
