We moved 2 years ago and my husband is still talking about what a professional job they did. They were very friendly and responsible. Great service at the best price we could find. They were recommended to us by a friend and I would like to make that same recommendation. You know they are good since we are still impressed 2 years later!

I was quoted for three hours and it ended up taking 5.25 hours which I would have been okay with if the two movers were actively working the entire time. I assisted with moving a bulk of my stuff. I felt like I was working way harder than I should have if it was two men but I felt like it was necessary because they were moving at a snails pace. One guy mainly stayed on the truck while me and the other mover was taking things in. I realized i was doing way too much when the one mover asked me “hey you got these boxes?” which were stacked up on the elevator as I was sitting at the elevator with the dolly. There were multiple people taking the elevator at once so they asked me to hold the elevator but when I was waiting at the elevator quite a few times there were no boxes moving, I was just holding the elevator while they were outside. They decided to take a 15 minute break after only working for 1 hour and 45 minutes which I ended up still paying for. Start time was 1015am-Ended at 3:22pm=5.25 hours w/break. Also for me, allow me to tip as I see necessary, I don’t think while moving items that you should be talking about tips especially when I was working like a member of the team myself!

I was calling around to get a quotes for my move recently. I spoke with a young guy at Catfish Moving Company in Nashville, TN and after asking about my move (location, date, items I needed moved, if I had stairs, etc.) He quoted me a price and advised after a make the deposit I would locked in. I advise to send the quote and link for the deposit. Again, I was told after I pay the deposit I would be locked in and confirmed. After shopping around I decided to move myself with a uhaul. Never locking in, confirming, or paying a deposit with any of the companies I spoke with. On the day of my move two movers from Catfish showed up saying their are there to help me move. I advise I never confirmed anything with company and did not need their services.Thinking all was well I went on about my day. I started getting emaild saying I owed the company a cancellation fees. Ignoring the first one. I got three more advising I owed for the cancellation fee. Getting frustrated I called to company to discuss the email about the fee. After speaking with the same young man and him getting an attitude (which got me little toasty). He asked me why was I calling the company. SIR, I'M CALLING BECAUSE YOUR COMPANY IS ADVISING I OWE MONEY THAT I DON'T. I NEVER CONFIRMED OR PAID YOUR DEPOSIT. Then he proceeded to tell me that it not going on my credit report so why am I worried about it. As I was trying to answer his question he abruptly cut me off, claimed he would take of it, and hung up in my face.I am not really worried about his Customer Service Skills towards me. Because they dont ever have to worry about me being a customer. And I will spread the word to beware of this company to my friends and family. Its was all peachy when they think they will get your money. But he rudeness when you have a concern was nasty.As a black consumer I try circulate my black dollar with black businesses but this company, I would never. If they were the only company selling ice water in hell, I would pass

Overall Catfish had nice professional movers, but I had a TERRIBLE experience with Brian Woods who had a horrendous attitude and mis-handled/damaged my furniture. He damaged 4pieces of my furniture loading it onto and off the truck, and screamed at me when I confronted him about it . Catfish would do well to eliminate this employee before he damages their reputation for excellent service .

Catfish Moving Company came through where others were unwilling to help. A trusted friend referred me to them after I was struggling to find a company to help me clear out my basement so that it could be renovated. Catfish responded, got me on their calendar, and their men came out and knocked the project out for me in short order. If ever I need moving assistance again, I will be contacting them again, and will be telling all of my friends about them. Thanks, Orlando, Brian, Tyrone, Chris, and Catfish Moving!

Would not recommend. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! They double booked themselves, wouldn't return calls or emails on the morning of our scheduled move until I called from a different number that wasn't linked to our account. After demanding our deposit be refunded immediately so we could find a reliable moving company, the owner magically found a truck and team to move us. So eventually they showed up 4 hours after our scheduled start time. 3 men were sent. One seem pissed he was alive. One dropped almost every box and the third man was so sweet and looked miserable. Overall, it was the worst moving experience ever. We wanted to support a small, local businesses, but never again.

100% would recommend this company! Quick and responsive with my initial estimate. I have moved several times and this was the easiest move I have ever made! Staff was very friendly, professional, and efficient. They completed my move an hour less than estimated, wrapped my furniture securely, and I can not say enough good things. I would definitely use them again
