Had a coupon only good at this store. The dead beat cashier looked at it and said it was up the road when Google maps said this is the correct store. No customers, 2 dead beat cashiers doing nothing and do not to even want to ring up any items. I will not go back until these 2 are fired.

Imagine this dirty stinking man being a cashier but too busy eating chips & dip to assist a customer but tells customer to "wait one min" over their shoulder as they continue to eat said chips & dip. To turn around, not greet or address the customer or any other customer service like task. Didn't even open his mouth to me but had the nerve to give himself a highly satisfied rating for him or the store. He didn't even give me time to rate my experience myself, literally getting ready to hit the button & he hurried to do it. Very shady! I didn't interact with him or anyone in the store. No one greeted me so why would I give them the highest rating? I'll be calling corporate tomorrow just because he's trying to cheat the rating system while offering NO service

all i have to say is Rude as hell! Doors locked and they just standing there looking at you through the door with no sign saying it’s closed. And why are all the Dollar generals in this area so messed up and unorganized? It’s unfortunate how far this company is falling!

Don’t go at the top of the morning. I’ve been to this store twice in one week and it was not open when the times on the website state. Other than that, the service is ok and the store is organized.

Today I came here because I like a certain brand of cereal that only the Dollar generals carries and when I entered the store which was really crowded the end caps were so full I couldn't get the cart through. So the manager starts trying to follow me around I guess because she is assuming that I'm stealing. She was not really very good at trying to be sneaky or watching me because she was weird and had awkwardly fumbled around while I was trying to shop and I was too busy really watching her to even buy anything there then an automated announcement saying that a random anti theft notification was in effect and the announcement only went off while I was standing near the speaker. I wbas humiliated in front of my friend and also strangers shopping in the store because I was being singled out for some reason as a shoplifter when I ended up spending like $50 in there on things I needed and still managed to forget the main thing I went in there for because they were following me the whole time. It was so rude and so ridiculous and embarrassing! Then while I went to check out she had a complete attitudeand was telling me where I needed to go to check out like I was stupid or something and shoplifting. I made sure that she saw there was nothing in my pockets OR my purse. After I PAID, a male employee followed me outside and stood there watching me get into my vehicle. Thank God my friend was there or I would have been terrified. This was the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to in my life! They will never get my business again. I know this is Madison but they had Coolio's gangster's paradise in my head bc they were just going to hard on me for no reason in there. So I'm just setting y'all the ambiance of how it felt walking into place of dollar spending sprees. ????♀️?

Went to this location at 11:30am and the store is closed. This is NOW the second time this has been closed during the hours it is supposed to be open.

The biggest rip off store in Madison Tennessee due to their overpricing of everything single thing they sell plus the store is very unorganized Now and some items have the incorrect price listed,this store is literally a complete hot mess since they supposedly remodeled,need to lower their prices,get the store organized and put the correct prices in their correct places or they will be losing customers,this Dollar General Store is going down hill fast,don’t see how they stay in business
