Everything went very smoothly. We were assisted by Chris and Willie who were very professional, thorough and communicative. They also were very friendly and made us feel good and secure during the entire process. We were so happy we left them a very generous tip. Chris told me he had been doing this kind of work for over 20 years and it certainly shows. All in all we are extremely satisfied customers and appreciate the familial Tennessee hospitality we received on top of the great service! I should however acknowledge that Ellis did call us the previous day but I was unable to answer. When I called them back and shared my name and address they said that we weren't in their records and that they would call us back later. They never did. I found out that our things would be delivered to us by contacting our international movers who brought our things to the US. They informed me that we should have them some time between 10 AM and Noon. Chris and Willie showed up at 11 AM so they were perfectly on time as we were told.I gave Ellis Movers five stars purely because of Chris and Willie alone.

No call no showed during the original four hour delivery window. The next morning they dropped a 400lb crate off in the wrong location on the property at 6am. I was supposed to get a call ahead and sign for the package. Neither of these happened.

100% positive experience with Ellis Moving. Was contacted in advance of delivery to confirm date & time. Was contacted again by the delivery personnel to tell me they were close by. They took great care with our cabinet delivery. 5 stars!

Received some cabinets from Ellis and due to some scheduling delays on my part, the owner, Mitch Borske, was gracious enough to meet me at the warehouse to arrange a pickup and Brooke was very helpful on the day of the pickup and even came out to the warehouse to get a couple of their employees to help with loading. Great experience working with this company. Very kind and helpful.

I have had two exceptional experiences with Ellis. The first was obtaining a quote for movers to come, they got the quote back to us super quick and worked with us on our moving date. The crew that came to help us move were on time, well mannered, respectful and took inventory of every item and everything was delivered as expected. The second time I used Ellis was for delivery of a beautiful couch I ordered. Gave me an estimated delivery window, called to confirm and was on time. Couldn't have went any more smooth. I highly recommend this company!

Worst customer service ever. These people are the Final Mile delivery service for LTL company Estes. The people answering the phones will lie to your face. They called to schedule the delivery to my home a week from now. I asked them if I could drive there and pick up the shipment myself. At first, I was told I could pick up my shipment. Then I was told that my shipment was still at Estes. I called Estes and confirmed that the shipment had been delivered to them earlier today. They changed their story and said that Estes had delivered my shipment to them, but that it had not been scanned in and would not be available for dock pick up until Monday. I told them to go ahead and schedule the delivery to my home next Thursday. We shall see if they actually deliver the shipment six days from now on Thursday.

Ellis was contracted to deliver cabinets to our home. The delivery occurred on Thursday. On Monday the next week, Ellis called and told us they had left a cabinet out of our order in their warehouse. I explained to them that our cabinet installer was on site the next day and needed the cabinet to be delivered that day or it would cost me an extra day of labor to the installer. Ellis said they would not deliver the cabinet until Thursday or Friday that week due to routing. After 10 phone conversations and enduring the hostile attitude of the office manager (a relative of the owner) a very professional and nice person from Ellis delivered the cabinet the day the installer was on site. The basic problem is that Ellis made a mistake and would not take accountability for their mistake. They tried to deflect doing what was right to accommodate their schedule and not deliver quality customer service. The office staff were rude and the receptionist basically lied to everyone related to the multiple conversations that I had with her tryIng to resolve the issue. AVOID THIS BUSINESS. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISHONEST EMPLOYEES IN THE OFFICE. THE WAREHOUSE AND DELIVERY WORKERS ARE PROFESSIONAL. THE MANAGEMENT WOULD BENEFIT FROM LEARNING FROM THE WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEES HOW TO DELIVER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Told me my delivery was Wednesday. Called to reschedule to Thursday. Showed up on Friday and left my delivery on the side of the road without speaking with anyone. When I called back at 3 PM on Friday, the driver was off for the day and it would be inconvenient for him to come back. The owner was on vacation. The manager suggested I reach out to the person I bought the product from. The product I purchased is too heavy for me to move and is on pallets. I have to hire another delivery company to help me get it out of the road. The lack of care and level incompetence is the only impressive thing about this company.

Our experience with this company was comically bad. We understood this was “curbside” delivery, but after being told we would be contacted by the driver prior to delivery, they never did call, and instead just dropped the 550 pound cast iron tub in the grass on an embankment near our house. If they could have at least put it in our driveway I could have put a dolly under it. When my wife called them to discuss, they acted like she was crazy, told her she was “snotty” for so much as even questioning their deficiency, and then simply hung up on her. After using techniques learned during the construction of Stonehenge to slide the tub across the grass on a series of wooden boards, nearly tipping the crate over on my mother which would surely have resulted in her demise, and exchanging confused looks with the occasional passer by, I was able to get this thing out of the wet grass and inside in time to open the crate to verify that while this delivery company has literally zero competence in the arenas of customer service, communication or even common decency, at least the tub survived its journey(s).

Ellis called me on Friday 8/12 to schedule delivery of a cast iron tub to my home, stating delivery would be made Monday 8/15 between 2-6 p.m. I asked that the driver call me one hour before delivery so I could be prepared and home. Haley stated the driver would call before arrival. On Monday 8/15, to my surprise, I saw my tub sitting on the side yard of my home (it's actually an easement I don't own), with no communication. I called Ellis immediately and asked Ellis to correct this and move the tub to my driveway. Brooke stated she would call the driver and follow up. No follow up occurred. I called back on 8/16 and was told the driver talked to a contractor at my home and left the tub and if I had an issue with that I needed to call Estes, who subcontracts delivery to Ellis. I asked Brooke to follow up with Estes. On follow up, I talked to Sunshine, who told me Brooke is "out for the day" and that I was snotty and she proceeded to hang up on me. I still have a 550 lb tub sitting on an easement with no solution. Do not use this company.

Giogle doesn't allow zero stars, because Ellis deserves it, or Lee's. I was called on 6/1/22 to schedule a delivery to my home. We confirmed a delivery date of 6/3/22 between 11a-3p. Well 3pm came, nothing. Then 4pm. Then 5pm. Then 6pm. You get the picture. It is 6/4/22 and no delivery. No call to update me. Ellis Moving and Storage, you guys really need to up your professionalism.

Horrible service, items were stored for 9 years with this company and suck8ng up all my money but when my items were finally released things were missing damaged. Submitted a claim and zero response. I repat do not store your items here at all.

Class Pays Moving and Storage, with James and Heather at the helm, provided the best moving experience we've ever had, out of a total of 14 over the past 56 years. The North American van arrived at our home in Mt. Juliet, TN February 26, on time to load our household, and their local crew of six men was efficient, friendly, accommodating and most importantly, extremely competent. The truck was loaded in just over four hours. James, the driver, said he would be at our new destination, Frederick, MD around 8:00 AM on March 1, and he and Heather arrived within a half hour of the stated time. Their local crew of three men transferred everything from the truck into our new home and garage, again within four hours. Once again, we found the crew on this end to be very efficient, friendly, accommodating and competent. None of our furnishings were damaged, and where warranted reassembled and placed where we asked them to be. James left a hand trolley for me to use in the unpacking process, and returned a week later to pick it up and help put a bed together that had not been done the day of delivery. We would recommend James and Heather to anyone planning a move without hesitation.The packing crew who showed up the day before the moving van did not perform nearly as satisfactorily as the movers. The three men showed up a bit later than anticipated and quit promptly at 4:00 PM, after a one hour lunch, although the job was not completed. They did return the next morning, but failed to finish the packing, which heather and some of the moving crew did. Although nothing this crew packed was damaged, the men were very slow, especially one of them who spent the entire time packing the kitchen, yet leaving more than a third of the kitchen items for Heather to pack.
