Fannie Mae Dees Park is a great and very nice park for families. It features a really cool big dragon statue with lots of visual interest. The playground offers quite a bit of things to play with, including slides, swings, a merry-go-round, climbing structures, musical instruments, a fort, and a tunnel. There are three separate play areas for kids at different ages, with a portion for toddlers. The park has nice walkways, good green space, and plenty of tables and benches for adults. There is also astroturf with rubber padding. While street parking is available, it can be difficult to find during the day. The bathrooms, however, were noted as pretty bad. It is a nice clean park with lots of shade, highly recommended as a pit stop.
Great playground! Lots of visual interest with the dragon, three separate play areas for kids at different ages, good green space nearby, nice walkways, and street parking was available when we were there.

Did not expect such an amazing park in the middle of the city on our way through. I highly recommend it as a pit stop for those young ones to run around and get their energy out. The bathrooms though were pretty bad.

My husband and I went here and took our dog and we ate lunch there were lots of people and the artwork was really neat.
