I cannot say enough great things about Frankenstein Custom Paint and Body in Nashville, TN.! I brought in my 2008 Chevy Silverado, which has 165,000 miles on it but has been garage-kept and in overall good shape. It had its fair share of dents and scratches that I wanted repaired, and let me tell you, the results were absolutely phenomenal. The truck looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor—truly brand new!
The team went above and beyond my expectations. Not only was the paintwork flawless, but they also took the initiative to repair a few items that weren’t even on the original list of requested repairs—all without any extra charge! Their attention to detail and pride in their craft really shone through.
They delivered the truck on time, as promised, and the cost was very fair for the exceptional quality of work I received. It’s rare to find a business these days that combines professionalism, skill, and customer care as well as they do. I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know and wouldn’t hesitate to return for any future needs.
Cam, the owner, was extremely helpful! If you’re looking for a shop that treats your vehicle like their own and provides top-notch service, look no further. This place is the real deal! Thank you for bringing my Silverado back to life—it’s never looked better!

So I brought my rear fender for my 2011 Harley sportster 1200 up to Frankenstein Kustomz and had the worst experience. I was told at first that it would take 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and I didn’t receive my fender back until two months later and that was after calling multiple times a week for the last month he had it. I had to call multiple times cause he wouldn’t answer or give me a call back and when he finally did answer on a Friday he said it’s going into paint next week. Well I gave him all the next week and called the following Monday just to be told it’s going into paint that week. Then another week goes by and I get the same answer that it’s going into paint that week. I finally went to the shop to see everyone standing outside and when I got out my car I said I was up to check on my fender and he told me it was going into paint that week. For a month I got the same excuse so I told him that he had already told me that three times now and he said “well you can have it back” with a lot of attitude so I told him I would take it with my deposit of 300$ as well and he told me no because he had already stripped and primed it. He was incredibly rude and I wish I never gave him the business. After two months goes by I receive my fender back and as I pick it up it had a cut in it and I pointed it out and he said “that’s just compound the seat will go there anyways” well I got it home and put it all back together and my seat does not cover the cut in my fender. I’ve tried reaching out by text and call and have left messages and he will not get back to me just like when he had my fender. I paid a total of 600$, he gave me 50$ off when I picked it up he said. The rest of the fender looks good except the cut that is on it but the worst experience of all was the lack of communication and how rude he was. I guess because it was a small fender going back to factory paint he didn’t think it was a big enough job so he put everything else in front and still after all that time left a cut in my fender. I’ll be going back up to get him to paint over it when I have the time and I’ll see how it goes but I’d advise anyone looking for work done to go elsewhere. Also the hole where the seat goes was threaded and it was drilled out which wasn’t big of an issue because I just went and got a nut to put on the bottom side but he also could have told me that before I got home put everything back together just to find out I can’t put my seat on and have to go to the store to get a nut to finalize putting it all back together. Overall I won’t use this shop again but I will try and get this cut fixed and update my review on how it goes.

My daughter got in an accident with a 2004 Volvo. No one else would even try to find parts. Cam spent several weeks looking and working with parts dealers for us. In the end, there just weren't parts available. But Cam was fantastic from start to finish. He treated me and my college-aged daughter with respect and kindness. The whole experience helped restore my faith in the auto repair industry. Highly recommend!

Even though the insurance company decided to render the car totaled and therefore no work was actually done on our vehicle, the owner, Cam, was truly both professional and kind. He treated us with care and compassion during a stressful situation and communicated with us timely and professionally. The human care element is a big difference. Thank you, Cam!

After my truck got into a wreck, I took my vehicle up to this body shop and they fixed it up very fast. They are all very hardworking employees with a passion. They got my truck looking so good, it's like I just bought it from a dealership. They have excellent customer service and I know I can trust these guys with any work I need done to my truck. Shout out to Cam, Tater, and the young guy with the goatee looking beard (can't think of his name). I highly recommend this place to get body work done to your vehicle.
