Not particularly the fault of this store, but I have had a horrific customer support experience with GameStop. I placed an order for pickup and was billed for two games. I attempted multiple times to cancel the order by web, email, and phone before the second game shipped (only 1 available at store). Never received contact so the game shipped to the mall. I called the store and they don’t have the package. It was delivered on 3/1. IT’S BEEN 5 DAYS AND I CAN’T GET AN EMAIL OR CALL BACK FROM SUPPORT. And now the item is MIA.

Home of the least helpful lady in the world. Came in looking for an controller for my windows pc. She pressured me to get the warranty "would you like the one year or two year one?" "umm, none" Then she said something about 3rd party controller getting stick drift so I ended up getting a pre-owned xbox controller. She sold me a $44 used xbox 1 controller (one generation old). I wrongly assumed it was the current gen. After some research, you can get a new, current-gen controller for $50 some places. I guess you can't trust gamestop to be helpful/not rip you off. I learned my lesson: never go to gamestop unless you're as knowledgeable as staff. The controller will be returned.

2/7/25 blooming waters gamestop release
I can see why a lot of stores are shutting down. Super poor customer service. The lady at the register today was awful. Youre supposed to get 2 items per person from my experience with many other gamestops(blooming waters and prismatic). She was confronted by someone else because she was selling 2 of EACH item to everyone and denied it with a smile on her face. She gave very little chances to people who just want to enjoy the hobby and not try to flip for more money. I don't know her name but she definitely needs a different to job lol.

We love GameStop, but unfortunately, this is the worst GameStop we’ve been to. Probably won’t come back. Didn’t honor their posted bogo sales and discounts even though the items we purchased were literally on the sign and part of the bogo. Never had this kind of issue at the other GameStops we shop at and they always honor their sales and apply our discounts with no issues. The whole store also smelled like mildew and body odor, just an unpleasant experience overall.

Called and spoke to someone about a Funko pop, saw it was in stock on the website and called to ask if they'd check and see if it was true and hold for me. He proceeded to put me on hold to check and see if they have it and then he came back and said "yup I've got it, what's the name" so i drive 20 minutes on my lunch just for him to look confused and wouldn't give a straight answer. The multi colored hair girl rudely interjected herself while i was trying to talk to him "excuse me, I'm the store manager i just got here. what seems to be the situation" like girl, don't try and put your title out there to excuse my frustration. If you were as proud to say you're the manager, you should train your staff to be more efficient and not lie to customers. I worked for GameStop for years and know sometimes inventory can be off (the reason i called to verify.) but just to outright lie and not even check or call back to say you didn't have it.. then he proceeded to give me and my coworker a stank look like we were in the wrong while he stood comfortably behind the counter not doing a thing (nobody in the store besides us.) when leaving he said "my bad" and that's it, poorly managed, poorly staffed, poorly trained.

I’ve been dealing with GameStop for 7 months because they won’t let me use my GameStop credit online to make purchases. I’ve had 4 different cases open. The only thing they tell me is that I have to go into the store and can’t make purchases online. So today I went into the store for the buy one get one 40% off on collectibles to get the assassins creed collectors boosters. They had 6 in stock. I was only going to get 4 but asked her to check the price on all 6. She said I couldn’t get all 6 and I said that’s fine I was only planning on getting 4. She said she could only sell me two. I asked her where that was listed or where that policy was because I just got 4 the other day. She said it wouldn’t be fair to the other customers. I’m then told her I would just buy them online if y’all would let me and she just said well I can’t sell you 4 I can only sell you 2. Rather than argue I just walked out. So not only can I not purchase thing online with my GameStop credit card but now I’m limited to what I can buy in store and have to drive around multiple places to get what I want. I’ve been a pro member over 20 years and they have just been the absolute worst to me over the last 7 months.

Bought a Switch and tried to do an even exchange at this store. In true gaming fashion, I had to face an underpowered mini-boss (an employee on a power trip) in a three-stage fight.
Boss Phase 1: He let me know he couldn't help since I walked in 5 minutes before closing. In his words, “it takes 10 minutes to do an exchange.” He was gonna make me come back because it would take 5 extra minutes. I overcame this pathetic attack easily.
Boss Phase 2: He said he couldn't help me because I didn’t have the paper receipt––I only had the order details on my phone, under my Pro account. This was such a weak attempt at victory that I'm surprised the developers (management) still program the employees this way.
I thought I had him defeated at this point, but then his health bar regenerated at the last moment. He took me by surprise and said he wouldn’t do the exchange because I didn’t have joy-con straps or a center grip, which the Switch hadn't come with in the first place. Unfortunately, my inventory didn't include a way for me to prove I never received these items, so it was game over.
With my last few HP draining away, I made a final appeal to another employee on my way out of the store. I thought she was an available ally, but she was in league with the mini-boss. She said this guy was their highest-ranking NPC (9 years with the company), so he definitely knew what he was talking about. I was dead.
0/10 gaming experience, wouldn't recommend. The most senior member of the staff here will be looking for reasons not to help you.

Maybe have your doors open in the middle of the day. Lights off no one there. Then I came back, lights on, but the doors were still locked. Be open or give someone else the store space.
