The Great Escape is a great place to shop for comics, DVDs, action figures, toys, music, and games, both old and new. It offers a plethora of items including records, CDs, videos, mangas, books, and reading materials. The store is quite bigger than it looks from the outside. The staff is helpful, super nice, very friendly, and knowledgeable, always trying to get the best price. The atmosphere is child-like and fun for all ages. Customers can sell or buy items here. Many have been visiting since they were kids.

One of the best collections of vinyl LPs, 45s, cds, etc around, all priced insanely reasonably. The staff were all nice, and helpful with the customers . I was there for records, but they had.. everything, man. Games, comics, all sorts of collectibles. Great shop, good location. Highly recommend.

I come to Madison specific to go to the Great Escape. The guys are always knowledgeable and kind. We'll kept store with reasonable prices.
