I have one major issue, and I believe this is an issue that journey's should remedy to ensure the company isn't disappointing customers. I made two orders recently, one the first pair of shoes was sent very quickly, but will have to be returned as the size is not accurate to its real size (measured for accuracy) this is not journey's fault but rather DVS as a manufacturer. No issue there. The second pair from that order was shipped nearly a week later and the box was completely destroyed as it was shipped in a poly bag. Poly bags, while cheap, are a poor method to ship shoes in as many people who buy and collect shoes want the boxes intact and without that box the shoes lose nearly all their value (besides wearing them). This is a minor issue. I would encourage better shipping practices.My main issue was the second order. This order was placed and then canceled due to out of stock. Items should be removed from the website as soon as the orders are placed. There should NEVER be an instance where a customer places a order and has it canceled due to out of stick when it is showing on the website as available. This is an issue of poor inventory management from higher up employees who's job it is to manage skus and the website. These are the employees getting six figure salaries. As a business, it is unacceptable to disappoint customers by having out of stock items. Journey's as a company should reevaluate if those employees running the web site, monitoring skus and responsible for inventory management are even worth keeping.As a large company, you shouldnt have that issue. Small sole proprietor businesses don't even have that issue. If someone selling Keychain out of their basement can insure this doesn't happen, journey's should too. You should remedy this issue. Many other complaints seem to also be based around this issue as well. I dont think someone should be getting paid such a high salary if they do not do their job properly.

Will never deal with this company ever again! Shoes do not get delivered to my house and supposedly it is my job to track them down to wherever other house they were delivered to! No offer of a refund or making it right with another pair of shoes. Supervisor Jessica is no help and wouldn't give me her supervisor's contact information to take it up the chain. I will go out of my way now to make sure no one I know comes back to Journeys for anything anymore!!! Also left details with the BBB so others know what go on here.

I had an issue with ordering the correct size on the Journey's website. I wanted a Men's shoe instead of Women's because I liked the design better and had some trouble converting the sizes. I called customer service to see if they could change it for me. A very sweet lady named Lisa answered the phone and was extremely friendly and helpful. She took the time to review my order, change the size to the correct one, and even went so far as to make sure I still got the Christmas discount that had been offered to me by email. I was very impressed by her genuine concern for making sure I was happy with my purchase and her amazing hospitality. I truly believe that this was the best phone call I have ever had with customer service for a large company like Journey's. I am writing this review in hopes that Miss Lisa will be recognized for her abilities to help others during this busy and stressful time of year. She made my day with her kindness and said that I made her day as well by promising to write her a nice review due to her assistance. Thank you Journey's for your amazing customer service and a very user friendly website. I hope all of your employee's enjoy the holidays and spread as much cheer as Miss Lisa did today on our phone call.-Morgan Post

Honestly, I would leave negative stars if I could which as I'm reading I am not the only one who feels this way. This is the most incompetent company I have ever had to deal with in my life and I am not exaggerating. All I needed to do was return a pair of shoes, and every human I spoke with gave me a different answer and it's been a month and I still haven't received my refund. Absolutely unacceptable . I am telling everyone I know to stay as far away from this company as possible.

I sure would like to leave negative stars! Ordered a pair of shoes online, just my luck fedex delivered to the wrong house. I was given a claim number and journeys customer service will reach out to me in 11 days. Well here we are the 11th day, no email, no updates. After calling and speaking to 3 people I got 3 different lies! The last rep says they need 3-5 more days to investigate. Investigate what?! I sent a google image of my house with the address so there is nothing to investigate. Then I called fedex and sure enough the claim number journeys gave me isn’t even valid! No worries tomorrow I’ll do a chargeback with the bank. I have also told all my family and friends stay far away from journeys! I’ll pay whatever extra at other stores than to ever shop with journeys again!

My complaint is for the Journey's at Greenbriar in Atlanta. The staff there are very unprofessional, they lack customer service skills and poorly represent the company. As for Journey's as a company, I do like their stores and variety

I VISITED ONE OF THE LOCATIONS ON BASHORE, WI. 06/06/23. I PURCHASED SHOES AND LATER WITHIN 5 MINS RETURNED AS OF TODAY THE REFUND HAS NOT HIT MY ACCOUNT AND ALL I GET IS THE RUN AROUND. THIS WAS THE FIST AND LAST TIME THAT I WILL PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM JOURNEY'S. I WILL NOT LET THIS GO THE REFUND NEEDS TO HAPPEN I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN NICE TO THESE PEOPLE. I WAS TRAVELING ON VACATION SO ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GO BACK TO THE LOCATION WHERE I PURCHASED THE SHOES. I HAVE CALLED AND CALLED. I ALSO REACHED OUT TO MY BANK AND ITS ALL ON THE JOURNEYS LOCATIONSO IRRITATING!

Journeys does not care about their employees. They over work, AND underpay them. During the holidays they make managers work 60+ hours in a week and give them MAYBE one day off. I would say working 12 hour or more shifts everyday you’d deserve more than one day off. This literally makes the mental health of the employee plummet right before the holiday, especially dealing with difficult customers. You all at corporate need to rethink how you schedule your employees and maybe you wouldn’t lose so many. Fair pay, and better hours. Your employees have lives and families outside of your stores.

Yesterday I took my daughter shopping for shoes. As I traveled through the mall, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of customer service in several stores. Seems that most stores are hiring young adults in which many are not taking their roles seriously. As a military retiree, I take it seriously when you have a dereliction of duties especially when receiving a pay check. I even spoke to a young lady at one particular store who was listening to ear buds and watching Facebook without even acknowledging me or trying to sell any of the products. Well, as I was leaving in disappointment, I stumbled across Journey's in Douglasville, GA at Arbor Place Mall (Store #1078 - Trans# 73653). A young lady named Danae was running that store with enthusiam and the best customer service I had ever seen. Along with a young man named Donald, they took special care with each customer acknowledging each and every one. Even though it was extremely busy, they both kept smiles, were very polite, and answered each of our questions. Danae not only attending to the customers, she also helped to train the new manager trainee Donald at the same time. I was extremely impressed to say the least. Danae needs to be in some sort of management program. You don't find employees like her every day. I have my own business and I wanted to hire her on the spot. Unfortunately, I start law school this year so will be closing my business. In the end, due to the customer service I received from Danae and Donald, I ended up buying three pairs of shoes and will become a repeat customer. Bravo to Journey's for hiring only the BEST!

I went in store to buy shoes. The cashier had to order them online because my size was not there. My shoes we're never sent and I was never told so I let a week pass before I called them. After being told my shoes would never come I was supposed to receive a refund. My money was refunded to a different card that was not mine. I called their 800 number so many times I lost count. I was told I would revieve a check multiple times but I have yet to see a check. They refunded my money to someone else's account and it has been over a month I am still waiting on my refund. I am about to take them to court at this point.I will never shop here again, clearly.
