I purchased a new refrigerator with free installation. They were unable to install the refrigerator because they forgot a part they needed then told me it would be at least a week before they could get someone back out to complete the job. So my new refrigerator isn't hooked up and is sitting in the middle of my kitchen, I called the manager at Lowe's to discuss the issue. He informed me that he did not need me as a customer and that if I wanted it done faster maybe I should call Angie's list. Needless to say I will not be doing business with Lowe's anymore. I hope this review helps others make their purchasing decisions.

Terrible service in the Lowe's pro/MVP check out line. This specific location can only keep one register open wether they have one or 30 clients in line. As I'm writing this review I've been waiting 30 minutes while I have a time sensitive job that needs done. Terrible service

I was returning an 8 foot oak banister rail. It was an extra one or four I purchased. It was unopened, in perfect condition. I didn't need a refund, just a store credit as I was buying other items.The service person at the counter told me I could not return it without proof of purchase. I told her I didn't need a refund for this item, that a store credit was sufficient, as I had other items to purchase.She told me she could not. I asked her to scan the item to confirm it was a Lowes item and she said she would not, because I did not have proof of purchase.I purchase a lot from Lowes. According to my American Express, I was there 22 times, spending $4672.18 in the last 4 months. Last year I spent $12,418 at that store as we were remodeling our house. I told the service person that I'm a good, repeat customer and the item being returned was in perfect condition, still in it's wrapping. She told me, "Yeah, we hear that all the time."I don't prefer being called a liar. It is humiliating. So I asked to see a manager.The manager came and told me there was nothing he could do. He suggested that I leave.I showed him the store credit for a few items returned last week and asked him what policy changed in the last week. He pointed to a sign and said, "The policy is written in plain english, if you want to be belligerent about it."I was not belligerent. I was displeased, however, I never raised my voice. I asked whether he had the ability to issue the credit. He said that he could, however, it was at his own discretion and that he would not. Then asked me to leave again.I said you know you're losing a really good customer. The manager said, "I am happy to lose you as a customer."That is what you get at this particular Lowes store. They'll call you a liar, treat you poorly, deny you a store credit, asked to leave, then insult you. Lowes - surely you train your people better than this? Look at the rating for this store. They are the worst of the worst.

Went to get paint for our living room. Three employees were behind the counter. We stood there for approximately 6 minutes before we were even acknowledged. All three employees had looked directly at us as soon as we walked up. Yet they turned their backs and didn't ask us if we needed help. Finally, the male employee with the jacket slung over his shoulder came over and asked what we needed. Once we told him what we needed, another couple walked up. The other male employee with the white sleeve shirt and the female employee looked at them and once again turned their backs! I stayed there waiting for our paint to be finished mixing, which was about 10/15 minutes. That entire time, the other customers were never acknowledged, and the male and female employee were flirting and cutting up with each other. When the employee that had helped me brought my paint over, he attempted to hand it to the other customer. I told him that it was mine and that is when he finally asked the other couple if they also needed help. When we initially walked up, there were no other customers. We were the only ones. Then, whenever the other couple walked up, the other two employees were not assisting any customers. So the entire time we were at the paint counter, there were only us and another couple. There were three employees that could have at least acknowledged us immediately but chose not to. There were three employees that could have assisted us, but chose to not only stand there like we weren't there, but they chose to look at us and literally turn their backs to us just as this girl is doing in this picture. As a previous manager of several retail locations, if this had been one of my employees, I would have written them up on the spot. It is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. It would have been different if they were busy. But even at that, most people would at least acknowledge you and let you know that they are aware you're there and that they will be with you as soon as possible. But they weren't busy, and they not only chose not to acknowledge us but to turn their backs to us. UNACCEPTABLE. Lowe's. DO BETTER.

Went in to buy a washer and was lied to by an associate who sold a previously owned and badly damaged product. Customer Service refused to respond.Avoid at all costs. There are too many other decent, at least non-criminal options around.

Went to this Location to pick up a fan that was availabl. Manger at Brentwood location sent me said they had nine in stock. Got there and saw that they had the same fan but the price was different at this location. Assistant manager first name Jessie came up to customer service was absolutely horrible did not want to work with me on how we could solve this miscommunication between managers. I had a screenshot of the price I had from the other store and online. He said he did not want to jeopardize his job. Was not willing to call the manager at the other location, did nkt say I'm sorry for u having to drive all the way this way. I can give a discount for your next purchase. Nothing absolute worse customer service.

Employees act like they just want you to leave. Went in looking for a type of gelled fuel like in a can of Sterno and they said they didn't have what I was looking for or even anything close. I asked where any kind of barbecue area was and two employees didn't know then never helped me figure it out and just started looking up what I needed. After saying they had nothing, they directed me somewhere else, but three days later at the same Lowe's, I walked passed three or four different options while looking for something completely different. Publix and Kroger were far more helpful and they're grocery stores.

I wish I could give less than one star because there is no rating adequate to describe the nightmare I've had with Lowe's, specifically their delivery service. I'm well aware they use a third-party service for the actual delivery of items but the issue I've had is with THIS store.It is now the middle of June and I ordered an item in early February that was scheduled for delivery on Feb.19th. Not only did the item never arrive, but a wrong item was delivered in its place. They picked up the wrong item 3 days later and then redelivered it (the same open box, wrong item they previously picked up) two weeks later. I am still waiting on a refund for the item that they claimed was delivered.The store finally issued a store credit card and expected me to drive to their store to pick it up, which of course would do nothing to resolve the issue, as I'm still paying interest on the missing item.I have notes going for 5 months, including more than 40 hours worth of phone calls. I have spoken to the store and the corporate offices too many times to still be waiting for a resolution.I have never experienced a more inept and careless group of people. Very very disappointing.
