Had a great shopping experience! The best part was checkout, where we met a wonderfully sweet young lady named Fatima. She was kind and so pleasant. She had a very welcoming smile and it made our experience at Marshall’s a great !

I had the single most incredible human experience here last night. It was 1/5/24 about 6pm if this time frame helps find out the name of the employee this post is about. I walked into Marshall’s after a last ditch effort to get my 2 year old to calm down after she had a 30 minute tantrum at home. As soon as we walked in and she got in the cart, she immediately started losing it. Screaming, throwing her crackers all over the ground. A kind employee on her way out (I could tell because she had her purse and was almost out the door) came over and said, “Don’t worry! Don’t worry! I’ll get a broom and clean it up, don’t worry!” I refused because it is certainly not her job to deal with my kid’s tantrum. But she came back with a broom, swept it up, and refused to let me help. Then my daughter continued on with her fit after the woman walked away. I was on my way out the store defeated and the woman walked back over and asked if she could get my daughter some cookies from the break room. The woman walked all the way to the back of the store and came back out with a cup full of cookies. She told me that she has 3 kids, she understands, and that she was not judging me. Tears filled my eyes after the kind woman walked away. Little did she know that I just gave birth a week ago to my premature baby 9 weeks early and he’s currently in the NICU. I was 2 seconds away from breaking down, and this woman’s incredible acts of kindness after she was already off work and had no obligation to help me, encouraged me for the rest of the night and into today. I learned a lot about how to be a helpful human yesterday from this woman! At least 3 other people who saw the tantrum glared at me and gave ugly looks, but this one woman helped in a way that she did not have to. I will forever come back and shop at Marshall’s over any other store in the area.
