McCormick Animal Clinic is a trusted and compassionate full-service animal clinic that has been serving the Nashville community for over 30 years. The clinic's veterinarian and staff work closely together to provide comprehensive care to pets, including wellness care, dental exams, spay and neuter, boarding, grooming, and more. Patients and their owners appreciate the clinic's attentive and caring approach, with staff going over invoices and costs carefully, and checking with owners several times prior to services. The clinic allows owners to be with their pets during exams, which many clients find very helpful. The staff are highly experienced, though some clients wish they felt more comfortable drawing blood from both cats and dogs, as this sometimes leads to frustration. The clinic also offers boarding, but it can be loud and busy, especially in the boarding area, which may not be ideal for shy or sensitive pets. Visitors often encounter high-energy, anxious animals, so owners should be prepared for a lively environment. Despite these aspects, the clinic is known for its excellent care, with many clients praising the calm and caring demeanor of Dr. John McCormick, who has cared for numerous pets over the past 20 years. The friendly staff and the clinic’s focus on quality of life make it a top choice for pet owners seeking reliable and compassionate care.
